The Beeston Ploughshare is a traditional 16th Century pub which has been restored to be a community hub with a bar, restaurant, café and village shop. In 2016, when the pub closed, the community bought shares in the pub until enough money was raised to buy and renovate it. Through the sheer hard work of volunteers, we now have a community pub to be proud of! The 392nd Crusader bar pays tribute to the 392nd Bomb Group of the Second World War, who were based at Wendling airfield. It offers a warm and welcoming environment with friendly service, perfect to enjoy a drink or two! We have a separate restaurant where you can enjoy our freshly cooked meals with friends and family, surrounded by village history. There has been an alehouse on the site of the Ploughshare since at least 1585. The oldest part of the current building dates back to 1620 and is full of centuries of memories. Community spirit is at the heart of our pub!

The Fur & Feather is a beautiful setting to eat or drink. A thatched pub, in one of Broadland’s prettiest villages. The atmosphere is as traditional as the setting. Friendly staff behind the oaktopped bar, the day’s newspapers on top of it. A welcoming fire and definitely no television, jukebox or pool table. Next door is Woodforde’s Brewery. We serve their award winning ales straight from the cask. A great place just to come for a drink. But the Fur and Feather at Woodbastwick is probably defined by its food. Here the traditional meets the modern - whether you chose to eat in the restaurant, the bar or the large garden outside. Our chefs have built up a countywide reputation. Steak and kidney pudding fans have been known to travel from as far away as Fakenham and Lowestoft after hearing about ours! Very much family and dog friendly – this is the perfect place for your next meal out with family and friends, whether you are here on holiday or lucky enough to live locally. Picture yourself in a village pub with one of the most spectacular views of the sea and beach in Norfolk, looking out across the Wash. Whether it’s a cool drink, watching a summer sunset, or enjoying a hearty meal for winter warmth, you will find it here at the Mariner. The pub is located in Old Hunstanton, which is the only village on the east coast to face west. Its buildings date back to the 1600s. They were originally the barns and stable block for the adjacent house - now a delightful four star hotel. There are low beams, snug seating and plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. Atmospheric, the pub has a fine collection of local nautical prints and regalia. You’ll also find a warm Norfolk welcome, excellent food and drink. Outside, there is a well designed terrace and decking with lawns that lead down to sand dunes and the sea beyond. Sit out on a fine summer’s evening and watch the sun go down over the Wash - it’s an idyllic setting for a drink and a meal.

Over the years, we kept this beautiful old pub in its traditional state, full of nooks and crannies. Officially known as The Gardeners Arms, it incorporates the Murderers Café Bar. The Murderers is the pubs nickname - when you visit, just ask and we’ll be happy to tell you why. Our pub is a great place to spend a few hours. We have won numerous awards for both the quality of our beer and for the friendly welcome you will receive. We have also featured in the Good Beer Guide for numerous years. Ideally located in the centre of Norwich, why not pop in to take a break from shopping, or just sit and watch the world go by.
There is something for everyone - but we are especially proud to serve the best in local real ale.
