Where to say ‘I do’ in west Herts ROTHAMSTED MANOR
01582 938 500 | www.rothamstedenterprises.com/rothamsted-manor The Lounge walls are panelled, with extensive, rarely seen murals on the east wall. Alternatively, why not opt for The Orangery, a beautiful space with lots of natural light and large arched windows with views over the gardens? Historically known as the Loggia, it features a wonderful marble and limestone chequerboard floor that lends itself perfectly as a bar area or drinks reception room. On a fine day, guests can spill out onto the outside veranda area to enjoy drinks and appreciate the wonderful gardens and grounds. One of the smallest rooms in the manor is the Spanish Leather Room, ideal for more intimate gatherings. It can also be used as a room to meet with the registrar before the wedding ceremony. Any event held at Rothamsted Manor will wow any guests and support the amazing agricultural research that takes place on the estate.
We love… The venue can be hired exclusively if a couple wishes

to do so, and a free tasting session is offered prior to the wedding.
www.meachenandshorey.com
Established in 1623, Rothamsted Manor is an impressive Grade I listed manor house set in 12 acres of beautiful gardens surrounded by woodland. The manor’s exterior offers impressive historical features: stained-glass family crests in the windows, a clock tower and curved gables. The venue sits in the vast grounds of Rothamsted Research, the world’s oldest agricultural research institute; home to some of the world’s oldest science experiments. The Great Drawing Room was added to the manor by Sir John Lawes in 1863 and features a fireplace dating from the early 1900s, original portraits dating back to the 1500s as well as wood panelling. This is the largest space available for ceremonies of up to 115 guests, 76 for a seated wedding breakfast, or up to 120 for a standing buffet or drinks reception. Other ceremony spaces include The Library for 55 people which can be transformed into a reception space for 44 seated guests or 76 standing; or say ‘I do’ in The Lounge which seats 75 loved ones for the ceremony, 50 seated and 90 standing for a reception.

The venue features two different locations, including the beautiful mansion house steeped in history that can offer a traditional feel for a big day for up to 96 day guests and 160 guests in the evening. The Apsley Suite provides a more contemporary feel and can accommodate up to 280 guests for a sit-down meal with a dancefloor – perfect for internal and external catered weddings. Ceremony spaces include The Longman Suite (90) or The

PENDLEY MANOR HOTEL 01442 891 891 | www.pendley-manor.co.uk Situated in the heart of idyllic Hertfordshire countryside, surrounded by 32 acres of natural beauty and home to a family of inquisitive peacocks, Pendley Manor Hotel is unbelievably only 45 minutes from London. The entire Grade II listed property has been refurbished to combine modern facilities with the tradition it emulates. There is also a spa, swimming pool and leisure facilities, 24-hour room service, the Shakespeare Bar and Peacock Lounge – all contribute to a relaxing experience while staying here! The historic manor house now has 84 newly refurbished bedrooms and 10 exceptional meeting rooms all with plenty of natural daylight. 20
The traditional rooms in the manor house lend themselves style and character for vows which can be taken in the Verney, Oak Room, Simon Suite or Harcourt Ballroom; the latter has a capacity for 200 guests. Receptions can take place in either the Harcourt Ballroom or Simon Suite, while the Peacock Lounge is the ideal space for a drinks reception.
We love… When tying the knot here, couples should bare in
mind the beautiful staircase for photos and that you can have a marquee on the lawns for up to 500 loved ones. What’s more, couples can stay in a special room on the night of the wedding.

Continue the celebrations in one of the three reception areas: The Badgers Garden (120 people) is a formal setting in front of the 18th-century Golden Parsonage, The Walled Garden Meadow (499) www.sallymasson.com
is ideal for marquee receptions and features a lime avenue, The Fishponds (100), is a very romantic secluded area set in a Medieval sunken garden and couples can add a stretch tent or dine out under the leaf canopy and stars. Many other spaces could be used as walk-throughs or for photographs including a rather special topiary rabbit and duck ‘couple’, which are nearly 100-years-old. The venue’s specialist event organisers Big Green Space has more than 20 years’ experience working with historical locations. Last year, the venue celebrated its 500th anniversary and is planning a special commemorative arboretum to celebrate. This will include planting a tree within this new plantation for every couple holding their reception here. www.sallymasson.com

Beautifully complemented by modern décor too, there are lots of different spaces on offer to couples looking for a big-day venue. Adjacent to this is Fletcher’s Lea which is a modern addition to the estate; boasting it’s own decking area at the back which overlooks the beautiful River Lea. For the all-important ‘I dos’, The Priory Hall holds 100 guests and is situated in what were the cloisters of the original Friary. The open arches were filled in during the mid-1800s with stained glass and mortar, the room also boasts mid-Victorian murals which have been preserved and restored and French windows open on to the riverside garden. Holding up to 100 guests, The Conservatory offers a bright and spacious interior with easy access to its riverside gardens. It’s also
ideal for wedding breakfasts and receptions for up to 120 guests. For intimate dos, the Hadsley Room (40) is part of the Lady Suite and is situated on the first floor of the Priory in what was originally believed to be the Abbots Lodgings. Finally, The Riverside Suite (200) within Fletcher’s Lea, is also ideal as a larger venue for wedding receptions and celebration parties and can accommodate up to 160 guests for dining and 220 for a buffet setting. Fletcher’s Lea is a standalone building which affords exclusivity, additionally there is a private terrace offering views over the River Lea as well as access to all the gardens within the Priory Estate. When choosing to wed here, couples and guests can arrive or leave by narrow boat as there is a river docking area, and there are multiple offers and packages couples can make the most of! During these uncertain times, the venue is able to offer a virtual tour and is happy to take provisional bookings so that couples can block off their preferred dates and start to make some tentative wedding plans.

TIME FOR
love South Farm was the perfect backdrop for David and Melissa’s emotional wedding

REAL WEDDINGS
D
avid and Melissa first met during their teen years at an under 18s nightclub and began speaking over MSN. Over time they became best friends and the following year a couple – the rest is history! When it came to the proposal, David had a huge surprise waiting for Melissa. She says, “I had arranged a surprise night away for his birthday glamping in a cabin in the countryside. David had found out by mistake and without me knowing, drove two hours the day before to decorate the cabin ready to propose as soon as we arrived the next day – of course I said yes!” Here Melissa shares details about their special day…
SETTING THE SCENE When it came to finding the venue, the couple knew South Farm was the perfect space that allowed the whole day to occur in one location. Melissa says, “We were able to get ready at the venue and stay the night of the wedding, this included breakfast the next day with our family who also stayed. South Farm is a beautiful venue with all the finer details thought of.” For favours the pair gave mini bottles of Jäger to thank guests for coming and created personalised activity packs for the children with glow sticks. A task the lovebirds found difficult was finding a table plan and wedding signs. Melissa says, “I had attended a wedding fair and Hunnibell Chalk was there with her wedding signs and I knew they’d be lovely at our wedding. Her designs were so unique and could be personalised to whatever theme, so we chose pink peonies to be incorporated in all our signs to match the flowers in my bouquet.” Peonies are the bride’s favourite flower but were a struggle to find due to the time of year. However, after finding a florist who offers artificial flowers, the possibilities were endless. She says, “An artificial flowers meant I could keep my bouquet for years to come and it wasn’t much more expensive than if I had real flowers.” The bridesmaids’ bouquets were gypsophila and looked lovely in the photos. To make sure all the guests could easily access the venue, the couple hired a coach to collect everyone and bring them back home again to remove any pressure for guests trying to arrange how to get to and from the venue. When it came to finding the food options for the wedding, the couple made sure to pick foods they like without worrying about pleasing everyone else. Melissa says, “For our canapés, we chose satay chicken, mini cheeseburgers, halloumi, brownies and blondies. Some might find those options random, but they went down a treat with our guests.” Beef with potatoes, vegetables and gravy was chosen for the mains and sticky toffee pudding for dessert while all the children had chicken nuggets and chocolate brownie for dessert. In the evening a hog roast was offered which went down great with the evening guests.
LOOKING THE PART Most brides dream of their wedding dress from a young age, Melissa always knew she wanted one with a detailed back and picked a Maggie Sottero design. She borrowed a friend’s wedding veil as her something borrowed. She says, “It felt surreal seeing myself in a wedding dress, but I 29
felt lovely and so happy with my choice of gown.” To ensure comfort throughout the day, the bride wore sparkly silver shoes for the ceremony and for the evening changed them to white Converse with personalised satin laces that featured the wedding date and her new married name. David looked dashing in a blue suit with a white tie and pocket square while the groomsmen wore the same suit but with pink ones. The bridesmaids looked stunning in mink dresses from Little Mistress with beautiful beading on the shoulder. It was essential to the bride that everyone felt comfortable, which influenced the choice of flowing gowns.
TIME TO CELEBRATE To entertain guests the couple booked a DJ who played music for all ages and accepted requests to make the wedding more personal. The dancefloor was never empty and the company played some Irish songs that got people up and jiving. Lots of fun and amazing memories were captured in the evening with everyone having fun and dancing the night away.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS The bride felt relaxed and wasn’t stressed about anything on the day. She knew that if anything went wrong, she couldn’t do anything now and just wanted to enjoy the day at this point. Whereas David felt the nervous mixed with a bit of stress as he had a few last-minute touches to do and needed to get him and their sons ready on time. The day the wedding took place was the same day that storm Dennis took hold, causing so much wind that during a group shot outside the bride’s veil flew off! Luckily it was caught and it made for an amusing moment to look back on. A part of that day that stood out was the evening reception. The couple decided they wanted to slow dance but not for too long and half-way through the performance broke out into a group choreographed dance. Melissa says, “We were so glad we had booked a videographer so we can relive the whole day again.” She adds, “The most special thing of the day was to have everyone we love all in once place and being altogether having fun.”
“Enjoy every second of the day as it goes so quickly, everyone always says that but it’s so true!” – Melissa

arriet and Alex first met at work during a shift at a local pub called The Two Brewers in Chipperfield where they fell for each other straight away. Harriet says, “Within days of meeting we were inseparable, and despite being from very different backgrounds knew that we wanted to create our unique future together.” Throughout many beautiful moments creating unforgettable memories the couple knew they were the perfect pair. Alex proposed to Harriet on the Brighton seafront on her birthday which was a complete surprise! He says, “It had been a long time coming (more than nine years) and doing it on her birthday was a red herring as she would never have expected it!” Here Harriet shares details about their special day…

aura and Martin first met at their local pub while out with mutual friends and over time it became clear what they shared something special. As each day passed, the pair’s bond grew which led to Laura proposing in August 2019. She says, “We had talked about getting married from when we were first together but getting round to it was something quite different – he was so surprised when I asked! Our main goal when planning the wedding was to have a day that represented us both.” Here Laura shares details about their special day…

We had the most fantastic graze platter, which was perfect for the style of wedding.
Our flowers were beautiful and consisted of pink and green florals.
I didn’t want a traditional dress as such, but I realised it was everything I wanted it to be when I tried one on – elegant, simple and very me. I felt so overwhelmed when I saw myself all ready. We had a beautiful white chocolate and raspberry cake adorned with fresh flowers.

We felt on top of the world and we couldn’t believe we had managed to get married because of the uncertainty around lockdown.

“Our top tip for couples would be to have your most immediate loved ones there and your day will be perfect – you don’t need as many people or as much fuss as you think.”
About 40 people came to the registry office and stood socially distanced for when we left the registry office, which was so special.
The whole day was so perfect!

ere at Your Herts and Beds Wedding, we’re in love with this gorgeous shoot which showcases inspiration for an outdoor wedding theme. The process for the styled shoot started back in January 2020, with a Pinterest board and endless possibilities. The shoot evolved within a few weeks and the list of local suppliers involved grew to build a talented and passionate team. Shoot coordinator Lauren Jones and Sam Woodside at Victoria + Claire say, “Whilst many weddings have been postponed until this year and beyond because of COVID-19, this time has encouraged businesses to find new ways to get creative and reach out to couples planning their wedding. “All of the suppliers are amazing and wonderful to work with, we were thrilled to be able to capture a luxurious, boho wedding scene – perfect for couples picturing this style for their big day!” Enjoy these beautiful images! 47

estled in 22 acres of tranquil landscaped gardens, Hunton Park Hotel is an elegant venue which was the perfect location for this shoot. The talented team of suppliers worked hard to demonstrate their work and provide plenty of ideas for nearlyweds. To reflect the light and airy feel of the space, Tiggity Boo created beautiful stationery bringing subtle elements of blue hydrangeas with an added edge of luxury with the 100 per cent silk ribbon used to keep the bundle together. By combining menus and place cards, this offers a personal touch and means less clutter on the tables and more room for the flowers by Sara’s Events. The florals showcased wild and romantic arrangements of blue hydrangeas and delphinium with eucalyptus, while white roses tied it all together for a touch of romance. Bomboniere by Maria designed and created ivory tulle favours filled with five white sugared almonds finished off with blue flowers and satin ribbon. The traditional Italian Confettata sweet table featured gorgeous glass containers filled with pistachio, salted caramel and strawberry flavoured sugared almonds alongside the conventional type. Erzulie Cakes created the most luxurious four-tiered cake with dreamy blue watercolour waves complementing a cluster of handmade sugar hydrangeas nestled between soft frosted leaves for an ethereal, romantic feel. The model wore subtle make-up to enhance her natural beauty with luxurious soft curls finishing off her look. A gorgeous headband from designer Miranda Templeton was added to finish off the look as well as sapphire and diamond earrings designed by Jessica Wilson Limited. The jumpsuit provided by Cerimonia is from the designer Nicola Anne called Romance with an Orla belt and a Charm over skirt was added. This is the perfect way to switch up the wedding day look with minimal effort. Ending the evening with a touch of glitz with a Flossie beaded cape from designer Eliza Jane Howell. The male model was wearing a striking blue, three-piece, slim-cut suit designed and manufactured by Cerimonia with tie and matching pocket square. 51

teeped in history, The Priory in Little Wymondley was the perfect backdrop for this fun circus-style shoot full of colour and inspiration. Shoot coordinator Annabel Hopkinson at Dolly Dimples Weddings & Events says, “I wanted to create something outside of the box with photos to show depth, an energetic vibe and to inspire couples to plan their big day. “We were lucky enough to work with some epic like-minded suppliers to keep the theme running throughout the design process by using metallic stars, stripes, festoon lighting, rich deep colours and traditional Victorian circus props with a modern vibe. “I wanted to personally showcase my new circus games package and bring it all together within a statement shoot. Our stunning new games include a traditional fairground coconut shy, a beat the buzzer, a helter-skelter hoopla and a ‘put a ring on it’ hoopla. This is great for entertaining many guests at once while being the perfect ice-breaker and capturing some fabulous photos in action. The shoot also showcased Showtime Circus who played a massive element in bringing its aerial acrobatic stunts to the forefront of the shoot. “Couples have the opportunity to create something so personal to them and make a mark on their big day. Those with a background theme can be pulled together much easier and look much more artistic and polished; these are also the most memorable.” 55

EXPERT ADVICE
Q&A Our experts give their advice to help you look your big-day best
ALL KINDS OF LOVELINESS
We’re conscious about the environment and we want to find the perfect jewellery for our wedding day. How can we achieve both goals? Choosing your perfect wedding ring can be overwhelming: should you opt for a plain band or one set with diamonds? Do you want a band fitted to your engagement ring, or mismatched? Cost also plays a part and not in terms of your pocket. The cost to our planet and its limited resources also weighs heavy. However, times are changing and so are approaches to creating wedding jewellery. More people are choosing to upcycle or recycle rather than take more resources from our planet. Choosing a bespoke ring allows you to create jewellery from
preloved pieces — transforming something old into something sparkling new again to treasure. Imagine walking down the aisle, knowing your wedding ring has been infused with the love of a bygone era. Your much-loved grandfather’s gold or your grandmother’s engagement diamond can bring a generation of love into a new lifetime. Using family heirlooms, old gemstones or vintage jewellery not only adds sentimental value, but it also feels kinder to the environment — and your bank balance. So, why not dust off the family treasures and consider revamping them to suit your taste, so they can be worn with pride and treasured for years to come? ACCESSORISE AND SHINE
What tips can you share when it comes to creating custom-made bridal accessories? With the spotlight on you, make sure that you’re the most beautiful and radiant version of yourself. Choosing to wear the right bridal accessories can be vital in capturing all the above and more. Selecting custom-made accessories will personalise and elevate your bridal look – no other bride would be wearing the same. As by their very nature, these items are limited edition pieces and not mass-produced. Comfort is an element of accessories that should not be underestimated. Just as you need to feel comfortable in your dress all day, the same must be said for your accessories and this is where custom-made items come into their own. Even my heaviest of pieces are still lightweight and malleable, not bulky and uncomfortable. A bridal accessory designer will consider your gown, hairstyle and any other relevant details before choosing components (such as flowers, pearls or crystals, silver or gold)
that will uphold all those essential elements. The sky is the limit, so why settle for anything less on your wedding day? Rachel Sokhal | Rachel Sokhal Bridal Accessories www.rachelsokhalbridal.com

“With a creamy matte texture this lippy is comfortable to wear and doesn’t transfer. Long-lasting it stays in place through coffees and snacks, but could probably do with a little top up after lunch. Plus, She’s a Lady is a super-feminine girly pink, lovely for a rosy bride look. Incredible value for money, it’s a great staple for your make-up bag. Why not try all the colours?” – Kelly Andrews
“This handbag must-have goes on like a dream and certainly lived up to its name. The wonderfully lush creamy formula glides on smoothly and stays on without flaking, making me feel fabulous all day! It left my lips feeling soft and smooth too – win, win!” – Sarah Reeve

“After using a tint for the first time I’m a convert! This colour was divine, and what I like is that you can layer it up and build the tone to your desired effect; soft subtle pink by day and a deep red by night. It lasted all day after drinking and eating, and even stayed on when I applied a balm over the top. A must-have for your make-up bag.” – Danielle Harvey
“Straight away, I loved the sturdy packaging and precise applicator. The lightweight formula has fantastic pigmentation and the product has a matte finish. There’s no cracking or bleeding because of the avocado oil, vitamin E, and hyaluronic filling spheres, which I’m very thankful for as there’s nothing I hate more than dry lips! The beautiful shade lasted hours on my lips and I got compliments all day when I wore it!” – Olivia Gibson

“The Lip Definer was easy to use, and I loved the way it looked. I put it on first thing, and by the time I went to bed it was still firmly in place, looking fabulous, even though I’d been in the rain most of the day. I had fun playing with the dual-ended pencil and brush creating a look that suited me and paired it with Unforgettable Lipstick in Legendary, but as it’s a natural shade it would work well with most colours.” – Melissa Barker
SHADE: UNDRESSED WITH LEGENDARY
“Historically, matte lipsticks have been my worst enemy – being a notorious lip-biter they show up all my flaws. But it’s safe to say that this product has changed my mindset. The finish, although definitely matte, is somehow silky and smooth. The best thing about this particular shade is that it’s bold enough to look like you’ve made an effort without being OTT – the perfect lazy-girl hack! It also has incredible staying power, but that does mean you need to be careful to apply correctly the first time as it doesn’t budge!” – Beth Morton
SHADE: NICE TO MEET YA
Illamasqua Beyond Lipstick, www.illamasqua.com, £20 “Upon application you could definitely tell this was a luxe cream lipstick as it has a balm consistency and left my lips feeling nourished with a noticeable shimmer. Plus, I didn’t have the typical drying of the lips, which I find some products cause. This lipstick is one to keep on you and reapply throughout the day for longevity.” – Danielle Harvey

EXPERT ADVICE
Top advice for the perfect wedding
A TOUCH OF CLASS
What are the benefits of having a toastmaster at our wedding? Using a professional toastmaster ensures the following.. ♥ The couple and their families are freed from any anxiety and can enjoy the event more. ♥ The venue management is allowed to concentrate and fine-tune the delivery of its own tasks. ♥ The client can be confident that the responsibility for detailed coordination can reliably be delegated. ♥ Professional advice, which is truly independent of the venue on all aspects of the day. ♥ The event will be conducted not only with due authority and dignity, but with the necessary lightness of touch to ensure all-round enjoyment. ♥ An extra touch of class and style will be added to make the occasion truly memorable. ♥ The guests will have a readily identifiable source of information and assistance. David John Pearson | David J Pearson www.dptoastmaster.co.uk
PICK OF THE BUNCH
We’re looking for the perfect flowers for our wedding day, what top tips can you share? Perfect wedding flowers are dependent on a range of factors such as season, colour, smell and style. Seasonality is important, especially when on a budget as flowers are available at certain times of the year. Lily of the Valley is a flower that tends to bloom in April/May and when used at other times can double in price while roses are slightly cheaper in the summer months as this is when it blooms. Here are some flower ideas for different seasons... ♥ For spring weddings use flowers with more scent such as tulips, daffodils, narcissus and Lily of the Valley. ♥ Larkspurs, delphinium, calla lilies, lisianthus and roses are popular in summer. ♥ Autumn is perfect for gerberas, roses and carthamus flowers mixed with foliage and berries. ♥ For winter weddings use blooms such as roses and dahlias mixed with berries and foliage. Rather than choosing a specific colour, look for flowers that show shades of that colour as this allows the florals to stand out and will be forever encapsulated in the photographs. I like to ask brides what their favourite flowers are and do they love a specific smell. Creating bouquets that have a particular scent for the bride can enhance her day by providing memories related to loved ones or a favourite place. Often brides don’t know what style or shape they’d like for the bouquets or the table arrangements. I suggest creating a moodboard containing images, colours, what you like and dislike – patterns will soon emerge. Tracy Goodwin | Creations Flowers by Tracy Goodwin www.creationsflowers.co.uk 79
BRIDAL BLING
We have a tight budget, but I would still like to have beautiful jewellery on my wedding day, what would you suggest? Bespoke bridal jewellery from tiaras and headpieces to necklaces and earrings are a luxurious touch that not every wedding budget can stretch to. However, there’s plenty of options open to keep the cost in check whilst still achieving the beautiful look desired. Although I specialise in bespoke, high-end pieces like engagement and wedding rings, I also offer a range of smallbatch silver ready-to-wear pieces. A lot of jewellery designers have a range like this, which can either be bought as it is, used as a starting point for a bespoke design or customised to your exact requirements. For example, some of my pieces could have the gemstones swapped to match your colour scheme and this can also make the perfect bridesmaid gift. If you want to design a piece from scratch, opt for silver rather than more costly metals. If you want a coloured metal, vermeil or gold plated silver can achieve the same look for far less money. Semi-precious stones like pearls or quartz paired with Swarovski crystals are affordable ways to embellish jewels. The image shows a one-off piece of dress jewellery I’ve made for a customer using yellow gold plated silver and CZ stones for a high-end look at an affordable price. Jodie Gearing | Jodie Gearing Jewellery Design www.jodiegearing.com
PICTURE PERFECT
What should we take into consideration before booking a photographer for our wedding? There are many things to consider when booking a photographer, and every couple will have different priorities for each consideration. It’s important you feel you can trust the supplier, and you need to make sure the photos are good quality. Will the pictures be in focus, edited correctly and be of a standard to make you want to look at them over the years to come? Good questions to ask yourself would be: is the photographer enjoyable to be around, and do they offer good value for what you’re paying for? The most important thing as a photographer to me is capturing pure emotion, joy and the love the couple have for each other. I hope this is what most couples would want, images to not just show your children/ grandchildren but those where they can feel the emotion in them. Howard Treeby | Absolutephotouk | www.absolutephotouk.com 80
LOVE IS IN THE HAIR
I struggle with thin hair and want to add volume on my wedding day. How can I achieve this? Here are some tips for creating volume for your special day… ♥ Blow-dry products into your hair to start, my recommendations would be Bumble and Bumble Go Big Thickening Treatment and the L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni. ART Volume Lift Mousse is also a favourite of mine. ♥ Blow dry your hair upside down before styling, this will create lift from the roots. ♥ Invest in a good comb for backcombing, tease the hair underneath the top layer to create fullness. ♥ Invest in a good shampoo and conditioner three to six months prior to the big day. ♥ Diet also plays a part, so start increasing your intake of iron and vitamin-rich foods such as spinach, broccoli, eggs and good old vitamin C! Emma Horsley Emma Kim Hairdressing www.emmakimhairdressing.com
SAY ‘I DO’
We’re looking for a wedding venue, what advice can you share with us? The most important consideration when choosing where to get married is to find a venue that reflects your personality as a couple. A few good questions to ask yourself would be; where would you feel most comfortable being the centre of attention, and what kind of event you’d like to share with friends and family? Maybe one of the important aspects is good food and wine, live music, a perfect backdrop for your pictures or all these things. You may be drawn to a formal, glamorous affair or something more intimate. Visit a few different spaces and meet the wedding coordinators. It’s also important to sample menus and wine to make sure you like what’s on offer. You’ll soon get a feel for what feels right for you both. Whatever your budget there’s something special out there that has your name on it. This could be exclusive hire of a cosy pub with amazing food, a barn in the countryside or a manor house oozing with elegance. A good venue will want to make your wedding day perfect, so make sure you form a good rapport with the staff so that together, you can create a day to remember. Good luck and above all, have fun in the process! Taylor Morphew | The White Horse, Hertingfordbury www.whitehorsehertingfordbury.co.uk
