“I’ve always loved the colour green, and it’s Jed’s favourite colour too, so we chose it for our colour scheme. When I went for a floral consultation at Hilary’s Floral Design (www.hilarysflowers.co.uk) in Abergavenny, we discussed what pieces I could use at different times on the day, and that’s when we came up with the idea of a floral arch. We used it as décor for our ceremony and then at the reception as a selfie backdrop. To add to an already emotional time, we decided to use the flowers from the arch the next day to take to the cemetery. “We booked our wedding during the pandemic to keep it small and intimate.
