Covington Latin School Strategic Plan

STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS For 98 years, Covington Latin School has educated the Greater Cincinnati area’s brightest students who become leaders in their communities. Over the last five years, Covington Latin School has undergone a paradigm shift that prompted the school to create a strategic plan to move into its second century of education. Stakeholders joined the Covington Latin School Board to study the school’s history, examine the current status, identify strengths and opportunities, and create cornerstones to ensure sustainability and success as it moves into its second century of educating gifted learners. The process began in 2019 and ended in the spring of 2022. All stakeholders were engaged throughout the process with interviews, surveys, a weekend retreat, and listening sessions. Five clear strategic goals emerged, and the purpose of this strategic plan is to provide Covington Latin School with a roadmap for achieving its full potential over the next five years. -And just like iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another.
