ITINERARY IN DETAIL Day 01
Arrive Tokyo
Welcome to your ‘Co x & Kings - Japanese Getaway – Winter 2017’ tour! On arrival in Tokyo, your Cox and Kings representative will greet you at the ‘meeting point’ at the exit. After immigration and customs, proceed for a brunch at a local Indian restaurant and freshen up. Later, enjoy a guided o rientatio n to ur one of the world’s largest cities. To kyo the capital city of Japan is the political, economical and cultural heart of the nation. Visit Meiji Shrine in the morning, dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. Then, stroll through the Asakusa Kanno n Temple, one of Tokyo's most colourful and popular temples and browse for souvenirs at Nakamise Sho pping Street. Relax on a Sumida River Cruise before arriving at Hama-Rikyu, a beautiful landscape garden in central Tokyo. We also visit the Shinjuku Municipal Observatio n Building. Later, check-in to your hotel. Overnight in Tokyo Brunch and Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Day 02
Onto Nagoya
Today morning, after breakfast ,proceed for a day trip to Hakone before taking a cruise o n Lake Ashi, and savour the numerous delights of nature. Later, visit Oshino Hakkai Village to capture a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. Continue your tour with a visit to Mo unt Fuji 5th Statio n and proceed to Nagoya. The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities. Overnight in Nagoya. Breakfast at hotel, Lunch and Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Day 03
Nagoya - Kyoto
Today, after breakfast, we proceed to Kyoto. On arrival, proceed on a city tour of Kyoto where we visit Nijo Castle, the Kyoto residence of the Tokugawa Shogunate and is designated a UNESCO world heritage site. It is then on to Kinkakuji, commonly known as the Go lden Pavilio n. Also visit the Nishijin Textile mills along with the Kimo no sho w. Overnight in Kyoto. Breakfast at the hotel, Lunch and Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Day 04
Onto Osaka
This morning, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Kiyo mizu-dera Temple and drink to your fortune from the streams of the Oto wa Waterfall. Later, we drive to Nara, the first capital of Japan, to visit To daiji Temple, one of Japan's most famous temples, with its Great Buddha Hall housing the world's largest bronze statue of the Buddha Vairocana. Walk through Nara Deer Park which has hundreds of deer. Considered messengers of the gods in Shinto, Nara's deer have become a symbol of the city and have been designated a National Treasure. Later, spend some time at the Gion area of Kyoto. Proceed to Osaka and check-in to your hotel. Overnight in Osaka Breakfast at the hotel, Lunch and Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Day 05
Osaka
Today, after breakfast, we drive to Osaka. On arrival, in Osaka we visit the Osaka Castle, Flo ating Garden Observato ry, Pano ramic view o f Osaka fro m Umeda Sky Building. Drop at Namba area for shopping.
