Arrive Jaipur Welcome to your "Rajasthan Haveli Experience " tour! On arrival at the airport / railway station in Jaipur you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Jaipur is the capital of one of the largest states of India - Rajasthan. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or "Pink City" for its trademark building color. At the center of its stately street grid (notable in India) stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace complex. With gardens, courtyards and museums, part of it is still a royal residence. Enjoy a city tour of Jaipur (Private). Later, proceed on a city tour of Jaipur, visiting the fabulous City Palace and Amer Fort. The City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces amongst other buildings, is a palace complex in Jaipur. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, the head of the Kachwaha Rajput clan. The Chandra Mahal now houses a museum but the interesting part is that it is still a royal residence. It is a seven-storeyed building and each floor has been given a specific name. Mubarak Mahal, meaning the Auspicious Palace, was built with a fusion of the Islamic, Rajput and European architectural styles. Later, visit Amer Fort, also known as the Amber Fort. The construction of the fort was started by Raja Mansingh in the 16th century and was completed by Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th century.The palace here has been wonderfully built with an intelligent design, that has a four storied layout and each level has its own courtyard. It consists of the Diwan-e-Aam, or "Hall of Public Audience", the Diwan-e-Khas, or "Hall of Private Audience", the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), or Jai Mandir, and the Sukh Niwas where a cool climate is artificially created by winds that blow over a water cascade within the palace.

Jaipur - Mandawa ( approx 180 km/ Approx 5 hours drive ) Transfer from hotel in Jaipur to hotel in Mandawa, en route visit Mandawa Fort (Private). After breakfast, proceed to Mandawa. Mandawa allures its visitors with its historical monuments and vibrant culture. Mandawa Fort, an ancient structure, is a reason to visit this town in Rajasthan. Built in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh, the fort stands out due to its ornate gateway, frescoes and paintings. The arched gateway has images of Lord Krishna and his cows painted beautifully. Even the rooms are decorated with Lord Krishna's paintings, mirror-work and engravings. On arrival, check in to your hotel in Mandawa. Pickup

Day03
Mandawa - Bikaner(180 km/ approx 5 hours drive ) Transfer from hotel in Mandawa to hotel in Bikaner, en route visit Junagarh Fort , Prachina Museum & Rampuria Haveli (Private). After breakfast, proceed to Bikaner, en route visit Junagarh Fort, Prachina Museum & Rampuria Haveli. Bikaner is a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, east of the border with Pakistan. It's surrounded by the Thar Desert. The city of Bikaner is known for the 16th-century Junagarh Fort, a huge complex of ornate buildings and halls. Within the fort, the Prachina Museum displays traditional textiles and royal portraits. The Rampuria Haveli was built during the 15th century by Balujee Chalva, upon been ordered to construct royal and elegant mansions that befit the wealthy merchant family - Rampuria. The haveli is constructed with Dulmera red sandstone as the crucial base material which demonstrates the gorgeous arty abilities prevalent during the bygone era. According to Aldous Huxley, a prominent writer and philosopher, the Rampuria Haveli is "the pride of Bikaner". His comment after making a visit to the haveli is rightly made so because of its antiquity, grandeur and exquisiteness. Later, check in to your hotel in Bikaner. Pickup

Bikaner - Jaisalmer (320 km/ approx 8 hours drive ) After breakfast, proceed to Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and a princely state in the Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the "Golden City," it's distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions. Behind its massive walls stands the ornate Maharaja's Palace and the intricately carved Jain temples. The evening is at leisure.

Jaisalmer - Sam Sand Dunes (51 km/approx 1 hour drive ) Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer (Private). After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer Fort is famously known as Golden Fort of Rajasthan. Constructed by the Rajput ruler Raja Jaisal, in the year 1156 AD, it ranks amongst the largest forts in the world. The golden and yellow mixed sandstone offers a magical look to the fort. Rising from the desert sands like a mirage, the fort is a real sight with its 99 turrets during the night as it stands tall and proud displaying the magic of Rajasthani architecture. Gadisar Lake is located a kilometer away from the fort. It was constructed by the first ruler of the land, Raja Rawal Jaisal and later reconstructed by Maharawal Garsi in the year 1367 AD. The people of the desert city are dependent on this tank for their water needs. One can find temples, holy shrines and Chattris around the banks of this lake. The artistically carved entrance made of yellow sandstone offers a breathtaking view. Among all the havelis in Jaisalmer, Salim Singh Ki Haveli is known for its distinctive and eye catching architecture. It was built by the then minister, Salim Singh who wanted to construct it as high as the Jaisalmer Fort but was prohibited by the king. The haveli consists of 38 balconies, each with a distinctive style of architecture and a peacock shaped roof. This haveli provides a nostalgic glimpse in the past and is a photographers delight. Later drive to Sam Sand Dunes and enjoy a desert safari on camel or by jeep (on direct payment basis).

Sam Sand Dunes - Jodhpur (290 km/ approx 7 hours drive ) Transfer from hotel in Jaisalmer to hotel in Jodhpur, en route visit to Mehrangarh Fort (Private). After breakfast, proceed to Jodhpur, en route visit Mehrangarh Fort. Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that's now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborated royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted in the city's iconic shade of blue. The construction for Mehrangarh Fort commenced in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha and it is one of the largest Indian forts. Though the construction was started in 1459, the fort had seen many centuries before it was completed. Hence, one can find the style of architecture representing various periods. The grandeur in its architecture is awe-inspiring. This invincible fort standing magnificently at 400 feet above the city was also the shooting location for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.
