In 2018 we purchased Bourne 709E at Westphal Red Angus in Montana. We were thrilled to acquire our pick from the 5L Bourne sire group which was the high selling sire group of the day. 5L Bourne has been siring high selling bulls across the United States over the last few years. Bourne 709E has become our senior herd sire. He consistently darkens hide colour. He is proving to be a tremendous female maker as the daughters have made great cows. At 6 years of age, he still has near perfect feet. He has been an aggressive breeder siring 28 Bulls in this years-pen through natural service. The Bourne sired bulls to date have been highly sought after in our sale.

BRED ROD Rawhide 7809E

Rawhide was the High Seller at the 2018 Rodgers Red Angus Bull sale. We selected Rawhide for some added frame size and performance. He has brought both along with tremendous performance EPD’s to back it up. Ranks top 1% for WW and top 1% for YW. Sire of the high selling Bull in our 2020 Sale. The Rawhide sired bulls in this year’s sale demonstrate the same performance as those in prior years. This will be the last opportunity to purchase a Rawhide sired Bull.

CRED JEWEL Desperado 181G

181G was retained from the 2019 set of calves. He himself had a 127 YW index back in 2020. He offers added length to his calves as well as leaves them attractive fronted. Should leave some daughters with extra milk production. A paternal brother to 181G was our high selling bull in the 2022 sale.
