We purchased Cobra as the high selling bull from the 2020 Brandl Cattle Co. Bull Sale. He first caught our eye with the Herd Bull Presence he displayed in his catalog photo. He offers much more than a great photo. He has been an outstanding addition to our Bull Battery. His first set of sons in last year’s sale were well received with added eye appeal.

Merlin 133H was retained in 2021 to replace his sire 421F who we lost early in his breeding career. 133H ranks in the top 1% for both WW & YW EPD’s. This will be the first set of 133H calves on offer. Although there is a limited selection, they are easy to find in the pen. Sons have ample muscle shape and thickness. They have added performance and eye appeal. We look forward to what is yet to come from this young herd sire.

We were the successful bidder to acquire Frontier 4H as the high selling bull in the 2021 Count Ridge Red Angus Bull Sale. He has been used exclusively on the heifers for his first two breeding seasons. This will be the first calves to sell from this sire group. His first sons averaged 75lbs at birth while still bringing in strong performance averaging 681lbs at weaning all raised by heifers. He has demonstrated in his first year to sire the type of cattle that we are striving for. They are born unassisted, yet perform with the rest of them.
