Few hotels have preserved their history as well as Radisson Blu Hotel Norge, long considered Bergen’s premier hotel. In fact, few hotels in any European city have been able to offer their guests as wide a variety of cultural, historical and exciting experiences. The traditions of our proud hotel go back more than a hundred years. As our guests, you can still experience much of the style and grandeur enjoyed by visitors a century ago. The owners and management at that time believed that a hotel stay should be something special. We still do.
ROOMS & SUITES
Radisson Blu Hotel Norge offers 347 tastefully decorated rooms, each of which holds the highest international standards. All of them are equipped with TV, radio, telephone with voice-mail, Free WiFi, trouser press and mini-bar. We also have 12 spacious suites and 41 Business Class rooms. In addition, a number of rooms are reserved for non-smokers and we have several rooms specially equipped for the disabled.
MEETING FACILITIES
We have the facilities to host social events with delicious food and excellent service in a cosy atmosphere. Functions such as banquets, theme parties, anniversaries and office parties are professionally staged in our elegant Banqueting Hall, or in any of our many lounges, which are steeped in atmosphere and tradition. Our banquet hall seats 520 guests, while Alvøen has room for 200 participants. If you desire a very special venue, you may reserve Maartmannshaven, our glass-roofed atrium; a fertile garden in the heart of the hotel. For smaller groups we offer a number of choices with more intimate surroundings. Whether you need a flip chart, overhead projector or equipment for advanced multimedia presentations, we provide what you require. The conference hosts at Radisson Blu Hotel Norge are happy to help in the planning and execution of your event. They make sure everything runs smoothly, from the moment you arrive to your satisfied departure.

Our food and entertainment facilities are situated on three different floors. Ole Bull Restaurant, with its views of the pulsating city life, serves generous Norwegian breakfasts and delicious buffets. One of Bergen`s best restaurants Bare Restaurant offers creative flavors based on Nordic cuisine, while T.G.I. Friday’s serves great food and drinks, all wrapped up in legendary service. Enjoy a drink and good conversation with friends, colleagues or a new acquaintance at the Contra Bar. You can also withdraw to the mellow silence of the Babel Bar. After sunset, you will find it hard to keep your feet off the floor of Metro, one of Bergen’s most popular night-clubs.
