This catalogue was published in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name in the Museo de Arte Moderno in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (July–September 2002). It includes a text by Ariel Jiménez that analyzes the relationship between Venezuelan and Brazilian artists in the 1950s, 60s and 70s, with particular emphasis on the work of Jésus Soto, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Hélio Oiticica, and Lygia Clark. It also includes a brief summary that describes the exhibition along with reproductions of the works included.
