Documentation and surveillance clash: Christof Nüssli and Christoph Oeschger combine photographs by Rózsa with surveillance records compiled by homeland security (1971–1989). The montages are based on Rózsa’s archive, which contains countless photographs and over 3000 state security files. Through collaging the historical material, new images arise, telling the story of an eventful time from two opposing perspectives. This example of a single person makes the impact of the entire movement and counter-movement comprehensible.
