Melbourne’s South East industrial market continues to demonstrate robust health, with certain areas consistently outperforming the broader Melbourne industrial sector. This resilience is evidenced by strong occupier demand. Indicators of market health, such as low vacancy rates and rising rental prices, underscore the area’s attractiveness to industrial occupiers.

Hotspots such as Oakleigh, Huntingdale, Cheltenham, and Moorabbin have emerged as key locations due to their strategic positioning and ability to cater to the diverse needs of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These SMEs, are often drawn to the area’s established industrial buildings, which o er both functionality and flexibility.
