great learning experiences CraftStudies will be offering in the coming fall and winter terms. All your favorites will be back—introductory to advanced classes in metalsmithing (come in and discover the special alchemy that turns flat metal and wire into beautiful forms), ceramics (learn to basket, felt, and so much more). There are also many exciting one- and two-day workshops scheduled, new after school programs being offered and, as always, the opportunity to design your own experience. We are especially excited about changes to the after school programs. We will be boosting hours available in order to provide your children with an activity every day; this affords students a great opportunity to delve more deeply into metals, clay, sewing and more. The program will also offer a pathway for those interested in exhibiting their work and learning to assist instructors in teaching others. We’ve heard from former students that these kinds of activities look great on college
