Welcome back! We hope you all had a great half term!

At the beginning of this half term we welcomed our new gap, Lara! Coming from a boarding school herself, Lara lived in a small country town (Scone, Australia) and is thoroughly enjoying being a part of the St Teresa’s boarding community as she engages with the girls and a range of areas across the school!

Upon the boarders’ return, staff heard everything about the girls’ adventures over the break. Over the past week they have all settled back into school routine very smoothly and are enjoying after school activities!

To end the week, on Saturday the girls headed out to paintballing! As the girls got armed up in head-to-toe camo, the fierce competition begun! Miss Ashleigh and Miss Lara by their sides, smiles were shared all round and the girls loved the new experience!

As part of our weekly activities in boarding, on Mondays we undergo an activity based around exercise. This week we did our first session of ‘Just Dance’ where the girls aim to replicate the dance moves on the screen coordinated to music. Lots of ‘questionable’ dance moves being performed, our most enthusiastic dancer was Casilda! All the girls involved now wish to do ‘Just Dance’ every week on Monday as their preferred exercise.

This weekend we are looking forward to a very adventurous activity in London - Gripped - High ropes and zip wires!
