YEAR 8 RETREAT
YEARS 8-13 PSHCE TALKS
Dr Teresa Baron, research fellow at the University of Nottingham, presented to Years 8-13 in their PSHCE lessons. She spoke of the importance of healthy relationships, the warning signs when things go wrong and good mental health. We found her talk very useful and look forward to having her present to parents in the Summer Term.
Music Recital
On Tuesday evening Mrs Yalden and the Music Department delivered a wonderful music recital in the chapel, showcasing a range of accomplished musicians from Years 8 to 12. The music recital provided a chance for these girls to perform on either their second instruments or showcase pieces that they haven’t had a chance to before. The experience of this music recital was truly compelling for the audience, and it displayed the talent and dedication of these young musicians. It was inspiring to see these young women and girls taking ownership of their gifts.

"Good interior design is more than paint charts and scatter cushions" says Georgie Postlethwaite, this week’s guest speaker.
Georgie has always been passionate about good interior design how it makes spaces function effectively, how it affects mood and well-being and, how the perfect blend of colour, texture, pattern and finish can increase the aesthetic value of a property. Her talk was very informative!
