Ccf Summer Camp

This year’s Summer Camp will run from Sunday 9 July until Saturday 15 July. Places are limited and will be awarded on progress throughout the year in CCF. Please contact m.stephens@st-teresas.com if you would like your daughter to take part.

Bough Beech Reservoir Trip

The Chemistry Department has arranged for all of Year 10 to visit Bough Beech reservoir and treatment works. This trip is a great opportunity for pupils to gain a better insight into potable water, how it is produced, how much energy is involved and the importance of conserving water. It directly supports the GCSE curriculum and provides an opportunity to see how the science works. The trip will take place on either Tuesday 27th June or Tuesday 4th July, and your daughter will be informed nearer the time on which day she will be attending. If you consent to your daughter attending, please do complete the consent form and return it to s.evans@stteresas.com by the 31st March at the latest.

Ski Trip

Amadé is a huge ski expanse made up of 29 resorts, bringing guaranteed snow (highest lift 3016m) The huge Salzburger Sportwelt resort, boasting 760km of piste, is considered the best ski area for schools. The trip is open to all in current Years 7-12, first-time or experienced skiers. There are 40 places available on the trip. The trip will be running from 23-29 March 2024 (the first week of the Easter holiday) meaning the girls will have 5 days of skiing / 5 hours a day. A letter will have been sent out with a booking form. It is on a first-come, firstserved basis so be quick!

Year 10 Geography Field Trip

Ccf News

On Saturday, cadets from both schools went paintballing. The cadets were split into two teams consisting of both boys and girls. The teams competed against each other doing a variety of tasks, which included obtaining fighter jet batteries from the opposing team in a Star Wars themed area, and a zombie head from a graveyard. The cadets all applied their skills learnt throughout their time at CCF to sneak around the areas unseen and complete the tasks to win. It was a very enjoyable experience at paintballing; a great way to work with the other cadets, all whilst learning valuable skills for the future such as teamwork, some leadership skills, listening skills, shooting skills, communication skills, and many more.

The cadets all worked well together and fought tremendously leading to a conclusion of a draw.
