From 10 September 2012 - High Street Reception Monday to Thursday 9am – 7pm and Friday 9am – 4pm Out of term – Enrolment only at the High Street Reception - Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm (Excluding Bank Holidays) Visit us at our Advice and Enrolment Evening Thursday 6 September 5pm – 7.30pm, Aireville Campus NB. Higher Education students will be enrolled on the 22 August and will need to have applied (Applicaton Forms are available in all College receptions and online www.craven-college.ac.uk) and been accepted by that date. By Post Enrol by post, sending your enrolment form and payment for course and exam fees to: Craven College, Aireville Campus, Gargrave Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 1US. Fees and Financial Support Fees vary depending on your chosen course and they are set out in the course listings along with additional costs like exam and registration fees and membership of professional bodies, as available at the time of going to print. Please Note: exam fees and registration fees must be paid at enrolment. Paying for Your Course — Cheques should be made payable to Craven College. — Payments may be made by credit or debit card either in person (at Aireville or High St. Receptions only) or by phone by ticking the appropriate box on the enrolment form. You must have sent in your enrolment form beforehand — A monthly direct debit option is available for annual course fees of £300 or more, excluding examination, registration fees or other costs. In such cases onefifth of the course fee, plus any other examination/ registration/other fees must be paid at enrolment, with the remaining balance spread over four equal payments — If you are claiming a concessionary fee then you will need to provide the required evidence when enrolling; however exam and equipment fees must still be paid at time of enrolment — Where fees are to be paid wholly or in part by an employer/sponsor, confirmation in writing must be produced at enrolment — Where a course runs over 2 or more years you will be required to pay fees at the start of each academic year — Please make sure you sign the enrolment form — Higher Education part-time loans are available for students on part-time degree level courses. This means that there are no up-front fees. For courses sponsored by the Skills Funding Agency you may not need to pay fees if you come into any of these categories: — Unemployed and on active benefits (Job seekers allowance (JSA), Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)) — Unemployed and on wider benefits (Council Tax benefit, Housing benefit, Income support, Working tax credit, Pension credit or Contribution based ESA) Please Note: You will need proof of your benefit or status to claim free course fees. You may still be required to pay membership of any professional bodies, plus any additional costs for textbooks, equipment, materials etc. but you may be able to receive support from our hardship fund to help with some of these costs. Refund of Fees Minimum numbers are required before a course can run. In the event of a course recruiting insufficient numbers we will try to offer you other alternatives or, failing that, will automatically refund any monies you have paid. Craven College reserves the right to merge or alter delivery of courses if the number of students attending falls during the course. If, as a result of this, the day or time of the course alters to the extent that you are no longer able to attend, we will refund an appropriate proportion of the course fee and any examination/ registration fees paid. In all other cases fees will not be refunded, as per the Fee and Refunds Policy (on request). If you decide not to continue your studies for any reason full fees are still payable.
