Kids Krew

Kids Krew is a before and after school experience for children ages 5-12 years offering a unique combination of recreational and enrichment opportunities in a relaxed and caring environment . Programs take place at the Mountlake Terrace Pavilion, Mountlake Terrace Elementary and Madrona K-8 in Edmonds . They are all licensed through WA Department of Early Learning . Elementary schools served include Terrace Park, Madrona, and Mountlake Terrace Elementary . Kids Krew is offered on a monthly basis and follows the Edmonds School District calendar . Care on early release and non-school days can be provided for an additional fee . There is a non-refundable registration fee of $35 for individuals, $55 for families . DSHS subsidies accepted at all three sites for approved applicants . Options for fewer days per week are also available . Please email childcare@mltwa .gov for more information .

The Mountlake Terrace Recreation and Parks department is following all guidelines and taking several precautions to keep children and families safe while attending childcare programs. Some of the measures in place are:

• Frequent cleaning, sanitizing and hand washing • Masks required for all staff and children aged 5 and older • Children are split into smaller groups when possible • Physical distancing is encouraged • Temperature and/or health checks at check-in • Contact tracing program in place

School Break Camps & Non-School Days

We offer specialty camps and events at our Pavilion Kids Krew Site for kindergarteners through 6th grade with a variety of fun things to do on scheduled non-school days in the Edmonds School District . Care is available from 6:30am to 6:30pm with a daily maximum of 10 hours . Children should bring their bathing suit and towel because we will go swimming! They should also have a sack lunch and water bottle . DSHS subsidies accepted for approved applicants .

Spring Break Camp

Early Release Days

On Early Dismissal Days in the Edmonds School District, care will be available at each Kids Krew site for an additional fee from school release time until 6:30pm . We suggest you pack a sack lunch and some additional snack foods for these days . DSHS subsidies accepted for approved applicants at all three sites . Parents register online via Dash Platform App.
