Welcome to Next Level Thinking Since our inception, CRE8IVE has been focused on delivering exceptional services to the Commonwealth Government. These services span the full spectrum of communication including traditional advertising, brand development, design and digital. Our experience working with Commonwealth Government Departments and Agencies over the past nine years has given us an invaluable insight into Public Sector working processes and expectations – it has shaped both our service offering and our business processes. We understand that attention to detail, consistent quality and flexibility are attributes that are essential to delivering successful projects. This portfolio outlines key projects undertaken by CRE8IVE for a variety of Commonwealth Government Departments, Agencies and Statutory Authorities. It demonstrates our approach – the way we think, our ability to deliver across disciplines, and above all, our passion to deliver exceptional work.

Client: Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA)
Project: To help explain the various responsibilities of the Authority, AMSA required a series of striking visuals to form the basis of their brand expression. We created a flexible series of templates that offered a captivating insight into AMSA.
Australia’s rugged coastline presents many potential dangers and navigation hazards to large ships.
AIDS TO NAVIGATION
SHIPPING SAFETY
AMSA manages and maintains a network of navigation aids meeting the needs of ships transiting Australian waters. Continuing improvements in ship-borne navigation, radar and satellite based position systems has resulted in less need for long range lights that were common in the past.
Shipping is Australia’s key export link to the world, but sub-standard vessels pose a risk to the nation’s marine environment and their crews. AMSA surveyors inspect ships to ensure they meet Australian and international seaworthiness standards and detain until rectified, those that do not.
Technological advances in traffic management systems have greatly enhanced the safety of navigation of Australian waters.
AMSA also defines operating standards for shipping to ensure that Australian vessels operate at world’s best practice.
What we delivered: + Brand development + Collateral rollout Ships in Australian waters are operating in one of the world’s most precious and diverse marine environments. AMSA is the managing agency for Australia’s National Plan to Combat Pollution of the Sea by Oil and other Hazardous and Noxious Substances. It combines resources for Federal, State and Territory Governments and other key stakeholder response to any pollution incident.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The National Maritime Emergency Response Arrangement, incorporating a dedicated emergency towage capability, is managed by AMSA. AMSA also administers national marine pollution legislation, in accordance with international conventions.

Client: Department of Defence
Project: Defence were seeking a modern Annual Report design, an artistic representation of the essence of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) that evoked not just the joint nature of the services but also the history, ethos and soul that lies behind the uniforms. The ‘scrap book’ design that was delivered fulfils these imperatives by focusing on the actual people who create the content of the Annual Report.
What we delivered: + Design and typesetting + Print management
Client: Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA)
Project: Building on the central theme of the Department, the design concept we created for the AFMA Annual Report was both interesting and unique. Printed on uncoated stock, the end product was highly tactile and engaging.

What we delivered: + Design and typesetting + Print management
