Zoe Marmentini

Born in Costa Rica. My first strokes were made at the age of 9, at school, where I painted with leaves and flowers to give color to my drawings in order to sells them and buy my sweets. I took a break in my life for personal reasons, to then take it up again 20 years ago, when I was restless and felt the need to create my art to translate with figures and colors what expressed my feelings.

The message I want to get across through my work is for people to appreciate a multicolored world in which acrylics, brushes, and spatulas are my faithful companions.

Through my works of art, I have been able to share with artists from Canada, Spain, the U.S., and Panama different cultures that have helped me enrich my art and further develop my creative mind. My goal is to create until the light goes out, leaving with my art a message that can be translated into any language, according to the observer.
