Bernardo Navarro Tomas

Bernardo Navarro Tomas is best known as a self- taught painter who expresses himself through different materials and mediums. In his early paintings, which gained him recognition in several New York City museums and institutions, Navarro Tomas created works that focused on his life experience.

In a departure from the social subject matter, his current works have experimented with abstraction and collage in wanting to capture the energy of his present surrounding urban environment.
