J.J. Corpas

Jorge Jiménez Corpas, known as J.J. Corpas, was born in Granada in 1972. He is a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist inspired by the “dripping” technique. He experiments with painting and art in a particular way, making room for sustainability, and this makes his works unique. In Corpas’s pieces of art, textures are created automatically with the help of a spoon and his creativity. Figurative art and abstract expressionism are found as vivid colors that are mix without composition of any kind. His works, made with recycled materials, possess extravagance and catch our attention, evoking a world of feelings. Today, the artist owns more than a thousand pieces of art, including pictures, prints, and other modalities, and he continues creating.
