Make your own Glitter Foil Art

8 of 24

Introduction • Fun Facts •

What Makes Glitter Sparkle? Glitter is made up of thousands, even tens of thousands of tiny pieces of various materials! What types of materials? Some common glitter materials include copolymer plastics, aluminium foil, titanium dioxide, and iron oxides. These materials are usually produced in thin sheets that are painted with bright metallic or iridescent colours that reflect light. The sheets are then cut up into tiny pieces to make glitter that sparkles brightly when its many pieces reflect light in a colourful spectrum! Modern Glitter has only been around for about 75 years or so. However, scientists have found cave paintings over 2,000 years old that include mica flakes that give the paintings a sparkly appearance.

You were born to Sparkle, the glitter is just to make someone else’s day!

Step 4: And it’s Ready Finish off your masterpiece by adding the rhinestones. Your very own foil & glitter Nebulous star is ready to shine.

Make your own mini Garden

What is a Succulent Plant?

Succulents are plants that store water. Derived from the Latin word “sucus”, which means juice or sap, these plants are often considered to be drought-resistant. This diverse group of plants is popular for the home gardener and generally don’t require a large amount of maintenance. Succulents are usually characterized by thick, rubbery, or “fleshy” parts. However, there are many options and these plants come in an array of shapes, sizes, textures, and colours. Succulents are often noted for their exotic or unusual appearance.
