Woman admits to breaking into cars on Memphis college campuses wmc.com

A suspicious car led to two women being arrested for stealing from college campuses.Ê According to the arrest affidavit, a Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled up to the car on the 8000 block of Tumbler Ridge Lane. The deputy walked up the vehicle and smelled marijuana coming from inside. Two women were inside.Ê The driver, Camara Wilson, and her passenger,ÊDeerikaÊJames were detained. When the deputy was searching the vehicle, he found a pistol, multiple personal credit cards, forklift certification card, wallets, and purses.ÊCamaraÊWilson admitted to the deputies that sheÊ”rode around all day throughout the University of Memphis and Lemoyne Owen College pulling on door handles and taking stuff.”

MAN WANTED IN WAFFLE HOUSE SHOOTING CAPTURED April 23, 2018 -NASHVILLE — The man wanted in a deadly weekend shooting at a Waffle House restaurant near Nashville has been captured, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Travis Reinking is now in custody, according to the TBI and the Metro Nashville Police Department. Police say Reinking was captured Monday afternoon in a wooded area near Antioch. Reinking, 29, was added to the TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted list after the early Sunday morning shooting at a Waffle House in Antioch. Police say Reinking was nearly naked and brandishing an assault-style rifle when he opened fire in the parking lot and then stormed the restaurant. Four people were killed and four others were injured.

Deandre Caldwell is currently being held at the Madison County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bond. They all return to court at 1:30 p.m. May 17.

The plea deadline is set for May 21. “I’ll probably look at setting the trial date maybe sometime over in the summer,” Judge Allen said. In a separate case, Zion Ross is accused of shooting a teenager on Raintree Cove in February. Both James Hudson and Zion Ross are due back in court on May 21.

The public is asked to be seated no later than 9:30 a.m. Jones, son of Mrs. Loretta Jones and the late Willie Jones of Jackson, Tennessee, is a graduate of Jackson Central-Merry High School. He is the grandson of former Lane College President, the late Bishop Chester Arthur Kirkendoll and Mrs. Alice Kirkendoll. In addition to his duties at CNN, Jones is a social entrepreneur, environmentalist, and author who earned acclaim for his commentary during the 2016 election season, which managed to be impassioned, personal and fair. He was the main advocate for theÊGreen Jobs Act, which wasÊsigned into law by President George W. Bush in 2007. It was the first piece of federal legislation to codify the term “green jobs.” During the Obama Administration, the legislation resulted in $500 million in national funding for green jobs training. In 2009, Jones worked as the green jobs advisor to President Barack Obama. In this role, he helped to lead the inter-agency process that Van Jones oversaw the multi-billion-dollar investment in skills-training and jobs-development within the environmental and green energy sectors.
