internal wall lining system
The MICAM HORIZON™ internal wall lining system comprises of a unique high performance Low Smoke glass-reinforced laminate (LSM21) with an anodised aluminium panel framing system which can be applied in a horizontal or vertical orientation. The system exhibits outstanding reaction to fire and response to blast providing ASIAD compliance (Aviation security in airport development). The system which is easy to install meets the performance, cost, flexibility and durability requirements of the airport environment and high traffic public spaces.
Horizon™ Wall Lining Features
Panel Orientation
Horizon™ wall lining is available in either a vertical or horizontal orientation providing a high degree of flexibility and design options.
High Impact Resistance
MICAM LSM21 panel provide outstanding impact resistance so trolley rail protection is not required in most normal traffic areas.
Blast Properties Horizon™ internal wall lining complies with ASIAD (Aviation Security in Airport Development) bomb blast requirements. MICAM LSM21 panels offer safe break properties and do not shatter producing hazardous fragments.
Excellent Fire Performance Class O material (England and Wales Building Regulations). Complies with the requirements of EN 13823 Euro Class B
Graffiti and UV Resistance
Horizon™ Internal wall lining provides long term stability of panel aesthetics. MICAM LSM21 Panels can be easily cleaned with water based cleaning materials.
Secure Fixing Method The Horizon™ panel system uses a unique combination of mechanical fixings and 3M™ structural Dual Lock™ to obtain the structural bond to the substrate.
Removable Features
MICAM LSM21 panels can be individually removed if access to services is required
Graphic Overlay MICAM LSM21 panels provide a suitable substrate for application of short or long term graphic overlays.
Horizon™ Wall Lining Fixing Method
The Horizon™ wall lining system utilises a unique combination of fixing methods including use of 3M™ structural Dual Lock™ and mechanical fixing of the anodised aluminium frame components.

Horizon™ Stainless Steel Corner and Skirting Features
Stainless steel skirting is provided with an integrated shadow gap detail. It is supplied in a kit form with MDF backing boards and fixing tapes The Horizon™ wall lining system utilises a range of stainless steel corner posts which offer impact protection and are available in a range of sizes for external and internal angles. 1

The Horizon™ wall lining system is manufactured under MICAMs quality management system which is fully accredited to ISO 9001:2008 The Horizon™ wall lining system is pre-assembled off site in a controlled environment to ensure on-going product stability and is supplied in kit form to minimise on-site installation time. Training support is given to system installers both prior to and during the installation
