Alignment of Voluntary Sustainability Standards to the Sustainable Development Goals
Description of the project This project “Alignment of Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS) to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” is conducted within the Managing Global Governance (MGG) programme of the German Development Institute (DIE), with the desired outcome of developing a methodology that aligns internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of institutions with the SDG Framework to better communicate impacts to the stakeholders. In this regard, the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) system of Fairtrade International will be used as a primary case study.

This project is conducted by a interdisciplinary group integrated by ve professionals from Brazil, China, India and Mexico with previous experience in government, NGOs, research institutes and private sector.
