Med-Knit-ations: Knitting Our Hearts Back Together
Health, Fitness and Wellness Classes
When we’re grieving a loss, our hearts can feel like they’ve been broken apart. Here is an opportunity for you to knit your heart back together as well as bring joy to newborns. “Med-Knit-tations” is four sessions – each session is 90 minutes – where we will knit hats and/or sweaters for newborns in the beauty of the outdoors. No knitting experience is necessary! Knitting can be very meditative, and by making hats and sweaters for newborn babies, we hope it will provide a healing opportunity. CRPR, in partnership with Koch Funeral Home, will hold these sessions at the pavilions by the restrooms at Tudek Park. You will be responsible for providing knitting needles and yarn and will receive a list of the necessary supplies after registration.

HIIT Fitness (Live Online)
HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. The class is a 4 X 5 meaning four different intervals repeated five times. You will need a set of hand weights, a mat, and a chair (sometimes). This class is live-online through Zoom.
