31 March 1948 is a historic date for Costa. On that day it launched service from Genoa to Buenos Aires. Before you board. We will look after you even before you board our ships. On request we can organise transfers to and from the embarkation port at special rates. In Savona and Barcelona we have built exclusive cruise terminals, presented in the following pages. Costa manages other terminals in cities across Italy and Europe which offer you a pleasant welcome wherever you may be and we also provide special parking in most embarkation ports. On arriving at the terminal our staff will take your luggage to your cabin. The embarkation time for your cruise is stated on the itinerary. Passengers need to be on board at least two hours before the ship is due to sail. Passengers who are wheelchair-bound or have mobility problems will be given assistance with embarkation and disembarkation procedures.
