PISTON POWER SHOW

Show cars from the ISCA circuit were in the forefront of the display area. Brad, Brady & Cory Ranweiler made the trek down from New Ulm, MN and took home the Summit Gold Cup with their beautiful 1963 Chevrolet Station Wagon. Model car builders were having their own competition with some of the most detailed models I have ever seen. Once again, the Krazy Paint pinstripe artists had a center stage location where they created artwork that was later auctioned off for charity. Several hundred custom painted pieces were sold benefiting their charitable partner, The Career and Technical School Foundation (CTSF). Collectors walked home with some amazing art.

There are plans to redesign the I-X Center space before the 2023 show including removal of the Ferris Wheel. Hey, the space is huge, and I expect next year’s show to be fantastic. Be sure to make plans to attend the 2023 Summit Racing Equipment I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama. (This years show is set for March 31-April 2nd.)

Remember, “IF A PISTON MAKES IT GO, IT’S IN THE SHOW!”

That’s all I have, Joe
