I am Eric aka Crunkatlanta & Promotewho.com ( no longer being used) - The Internet Promoter, the one that is in love with Hip Hop. Follow me on Twitter @crunkatlantaMag . Born and raised in Detroit, MI. Yep, I'm from Seven Mile Rd and GreenfieldWhuddup Doe!! My first inspiration to get involved in the industry was when I found out that nobody heard of any Detroit rappers outside of Detroit ( Michigan). My first gig was with a friend (“T”) that I assisted with promoting Cam’ron back when he was a lil chunky in 1997. From there I found what my purpose was supposed to be. My all time fantasy career was to become a quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. Once that dream was cut short from not getting the response back from -tryouts and competition over the years. I became hooked on music and brand marketing. HISTORY My history includes affiliations & working with Crunk Energy Drink, Ozone Magazine (Detroit Rapquest), Murder One Clothing, On Tha Real Magazine, Mafia Magazine, Yeyo Tequila, Def Jam, (The Ying Yang Twins,Stat Quo, DJ PAUL, 4-IZE, Nappy Roots, MC Lyte, Da Muzicians, Young Tone, DJ Source - The German Giant all on The DAM MIXTAPE) ,Lil Jon, BXC, Bohagon and several Indie and underground artist. Steadily building relationships around the country and the world - If you wanna work together - “LETS WORK” What's Crunkatlanta.com all about and what do I do? I been doing this officially since 2004. But I've been into the business since1994. Crunkatlanta Promotions initially was started with the intent to help: Business Owners - Sales People - Bands - DJ's - Nightclub Owners Promoters - Entrepreneurs - Artist - Musicians and anybody else seeking Internet brand marketing.

My passion is music and I crave the taste of creative sounds!
ABOUT “AMY”
In 2010 I began a career in the music industry as a manager for the Detroit Mo Thugs, a branch off of Bone Thugs N Harmony's label Mo Thugs Records. I became determined to learn my new found craft backwards and forwards, and wanted to create my own personal success story. In less than two years I worked with close to, if not more than, 200 artists. As a divorced single mother I made the decision to resign from management. I was missing out on way too many tea parties, glow stick baths and bedtime stories. I began promoting for and working alongside Moe Dirdee in 2012. His drive, talent, passion and wisdom continue to help me grow both inside and outside of the industry. These days I consider myself a constant work in progress. If you aren’t growing you aren’t moving right? It's a fact that Detroit is home to many talented artists that could reach the top if they got the proper exposure that they deserve and there's also artists that have terrible friends and/or family that don't have the balls to tell them how terrible their music truly is. So this is where I'm going to step in. I call it as I see it (or hear it). So whether it's terrible or the best, I'm going to expose it. Who knows... I may even write about things unrelated to music from time to time. So if you have a topic idea that you would like to see me post about.. PINQY RING Every flashy money-making rapper brags about it in songs. Every mafioso gets theirs kissed out of respect and honor. Each shines its own shine; bright, unique and magnificent. A flashy pink diamond don of her time has come knocking on the music industry’s door. Armed with intelligence, word ridden rhymes, a sick style and Latina flavor, Pinqy Ring is a veritable five foot force to be reckoned with.
Born and raised in Chicago, Marisol Vélez always had a flair for writing. She first shook hands with the mic at the age of 15 during her Sophomore year at Lane Tech High School, when her love for learning Hip Hop songs turned into a curiosity to try it for herself. By her Senior year she became the first female student to rap at her school’s talent show, and the ovations were standing. She vowed she would allow herself to feel the rush of constructing music and performing her own songs for the rest of her life. A wreck of a car accident in 2004 left Pinqy in a coma with a contusion on her brain, broken teeth and several scars. When she came-to, however, her feet hit the ground to run fast with her rap dream held tightly in hand. The tragedy provided incredible inspiration, and today she remains alive and breathing the air of Hip Hop dreams and aspirations. Her hand has been shaking every opportunity presented ever since, like an ambassador.
Being an Honors graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a poet, a proud Puerto Rican, a journalist, an educator and a philanthropist has put Ms. Ring in her own league of urban song writers. Nothing is deadlier than an educated emcee, and this woman’s quick wit, sense of humor, passion, ambition and Spanglish word-play will knock you out!
Pinqy prides herself in being a crowd-pleasing performer; No hype man, no gimmicks, no nonsense. In a male dominated field, Pinq has proven in pink pumps that she can out run the boys in their own race, effortlessly. Her aspiration is to inspire the youth of Chicago to find who they truly are, and that is a story that must be told. Pinqy Ring isn’t a made man, but she definitely made herself into a woman of musical taste and class. Building an empire based on hard work and real music, Ms. Ring is an inspiration to women who refuse to settle for less.
Her diamond is shining and there’s no denying: This rapper, poet, writer, student, teacher and jack-of-all trades clad in hot-pink shades is next in fame! www.PINQYRING.com - See more at: http://www.crunkatlanta.com/7/post/2014/01/the-princess-of-chicago-pinqy-

Country God 9Gotti, (A.K.A. Mr. Network, Da Mayor, Vybe Marley,JR Pimpin Stack, Gold Mouth) is a rapper, producer, and R&B singer from Atlanta, GA. Listeners sometimes compare him to artists like Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Drake, Young Jeezy, or T-Pain, but 9Gotti prefers not to be compared to anybody. Says 9Gotti: “I’m doing me! Taking my music outside of the box. I’m not scared to take a chance.” 9Gotti's latest album, “Swaglanta” has earned widespread praise, and the leadoff single on the album, “iGet Money,” has had more than 20,000 downloads. He is currently working on numerous projects, and continues adding to his over 100 mixtape appearances.
Growing up on Atlanta's South Side, 9Gotti always had a love of music. As a child, he would often dance or try to beat on things, sing or rap. Music has always been in his DNA. He has been rapping since the age of 4, and at the age of 8 he wrote his first song. At, 13 9Gotti wrote, produced, and recorded his first song, and began a lifelong passion for music that continues to drive him to this day.
When 9Gotti was a teenager, his family moved to the North Side of Atlanta, and his music ambitions took off. Lead by himself and Jay Capone, the group N.A.B. began recording music. Local exposure followed, fueled by appearances on the popular local mixtape series “Crunk City.” This lead to 9Gotti working with the group Y.B.L., that secured a recording contract with Pure Pain Records. After the untimely death of Pure Pain's star artist Camoflauge, 9Gotti and Y.B.L. went their separate ways. 9Gotti then signed to 3C Recordings with then collaborated with Huntsville artist Skinny Mann to release the album “Iceberg & Polo” as Gold Mouth & Skinny Mann. 9Gotti later reunited with N.A.B., and released the singles “Dickies,” and “Wassup Ho,” which earned radio play through Atlanta. Working with Shawty Lo and D4L lead to N.A.B. releasing their biggest hit, “Go Head.”

Rayne Drop - Phantom Of The Chopera Saskatchewan isn't exactly the first province that comes to mind when you think of Hip Hop - but all that is about to change. Hailing from the small northern town of Prince Albert, producer Rayne Drop is no stranger to the game. From dabbling in production in 2006, to paying more serious attention in 2009, and now launching his inaugural project in 2014, this young beatsmith is truly beginning to make himself heard in all corners of the country. A genuine rare sample purist, Rayne's debut EP 'Phantom Of The Chopera' not only showcases all elements of his eclectic knack with putting together soundscapes, but it shines some serious light on both up-and-coming and established MCs from all over Canada. The dirty instrumental introduction, with it's dark synths and crunching kicks, will make any rapper worth his or her salt want to jump on it; the path for this project has been clearly laid from the beginning. From the early Kanye-esque string sample of 'The Revolution'; the stabbing horns of 'Real'; the eerie vocal sample on 'Pride'; the mid-90s New York vibe of 'Basic'; the bouncy 'A Little Rain' (Fun Fact: the beat was picked by Rayne Drop's son); the gritty cinematic 'Confirmed Kill' and the anthemic 'Air Jordans', 'Phantom Of The Chopera' truly appeals to fans of every facet of the genre. MCs on the project hail from as far and wide as the appeal of Rayne Drop's production. From Toronto (iLLvibe, Truth Willis and Mickey Ulster), to Vancouver (Neph), to Edmonton (Brothers Grim), to Barrie, ON (Definition) and of course, to Prince Albert, SK (Mer and Knowledge), Canada has yet to be this well represented on one extended play. And this project is only the beginning; while 'Phantom Of The Chopera' will cement Rayne Drop as one of Canada's 'must watch' producers for 2014, he already has another EP with Prevail of Swollen Members ready to drop any time now via Subnoize Records.
