I am Eric aka Crunkatlanta & Promotewho.com ( no longer being used) The Internet Promoter, the one that is in love with Hip Hop. Follow me on Twitter @crunkatlantaMag . Born and raised in Detroit, MI. Yep, I'm from Seven Mile Rd and GreenfieldWhuddup Doe!! My first inspiration to get involved in the industry was when I found out that nobody heard of any Detroit rappers outside of Detroit ( Michigan). My first gig was with a friend (“T”) that I assisted with promoting Cam’ron back when he was a lil chunky in 1997. From there I found what my purpose was supposed to be. My all time fantasy career was to become a quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. Once that dream was cut short from not getting the response back from -tryouts and competition over the years. I became hooked on music and brand marketing. HISTORY My history includes affiliations & working with Crunk Energy Drink, Ozone Magazine (Detroit Rapquest), Murder One Clothing, On Tha Real Magazine, Mafia Magazine, Yeyo Tequila, Def Jam, (The Ying Yang Twins,Stat Quo, DJ PAUL, 4-IZE, Nappy Roots, MC Lyte, Da Muzicians, Young Tone, DJ Source - The German Giant all on The DAM MIXTAPE) ,Lil Jon, BXC, Bohagon and several Indie and underground artist. Sy Ari Brockington, better known by his stage name “Da Kid,” and now, “Sy Ari Da Kid,” was born in Bronx, NY and moved to the Northside of Atlanta, GA at the age of 9. Much like his personality, his music is a unique blend of the two cultures and cities –both of which he considers home. In his most recent project, Ultrasound 2: The Birth, which features hit radio single “Popular,” he combines New York-style hip hop and Southern Rap. While he’s recording, Sy “writes” each song off the top of his head, and speaks to his personal, real-life experiences through matter of fact lyrics and a distinctive style that’s not comparable to anyone else.
A born leader, Sy got a studio shortly after graduating from high school where he honed his producing and engineering sound while also working on his craft as a writer and artist. During this time, Sy had also founded his own record label, Arrogant Music. He and his Arrogant Music team organized events and managed a promotional team throughout Marietta that drew the attention of the entire music community in Atlanta.
Above all else, Sy is a dedicated family man who maintains a close bond with his parents, who have been married for more than 30 years, and is a single father with full custody of his three year old son. He values his family’s opinions and largely credits them for the straight-shooting, honest music he now creates. After hearing some of the songs Sy had written several years ago, his family urged him to be himself and keep it real by writing about things he’s living and knows, rather than trying to sound like every other recording artist. He took this advice to heart and never looked back.
Sy came up recording and performing with Waka Flaka, Slim Dunkin and K. Camp and currently work or collabs with many of the hottest producers and artists coming out of Atlanta. In 2012, when Slim was shot and killed at a music studio in Atlanta, Sy committed to keep Slim Dunkin’s name and legacy alive through his music and social media. Sy respected Slim for motivating and looking out for everyone in his crew and attributes many industry contacts and fans from the times he toured and worked with Slim.
Prior to Ultrasound 2: The Birth, Sy put out approximately 25 mixtapes, including Ultrasound, Definition of Definition, and Bad Boys.
Sy actively engages and communicates with his fans through various social media platforms. In fact, at this year’s SXSW, he made it a point to connect with as many fans as possible if they reached out to him to show support for his movement. He’s widely known throughout the industry as a hard-working, humble and motivating guy who wants to see himself and everyone around him win.
Through the success of his current hit single, “Popular,” and various projects, fans can look forward to seeing Sy Ari Da Kid on tour and scheduling several performances throughout the US in 2014.

At just 23 years old, Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan is set to take the music industry by storm. Born DeQuantes Lamar on October 4, 1989, “Quan” as close friends and family know him, is the eldest of three siblings that were raised in a single family home. Originally having dreams of becoming a professional baseball player, Quan could not ignore his passion for music.
Possessing an undeniable talent for storytelling, Quan’s focus quickly changed to rapping. Dedicating countless hours in the studio, Quan began churning out street hit after hit, which eventually resulted in the 2008 smash “Stay Down” featuring the Stack Money Boys. Beginning to make his mark in Atlanta, “Stay Down” became a hood favorite and solidified the start of a promising rap career for Quan.
The beginning quickly came to an unfortunate halt when Quan found himself on the wrong side of the law, which cost him over a year of his freedom. With a faithful following and committed team, they continued to push Quan’s music for his undying fans.
Released in 2011, Quan returned to making music with a new outlook on life, “I can’t go back to that, this is my life and I’m thankful for it” said Quan. Things seemed to look bright again for the aspiring rapper, as fate would have it he met the man that would serve as his mentor, CEO Tezzy. Seeing the remarkable talent in Quan, Tezzy offered him a deal with his label L.O.R (Loyalty Over Royalties). Known for his outstanding work ethic, Quan remained in the studio non-stop, where he met then label mate Mafio. With similar work styles and determined attitudes, Mafio and Quan decided to form a group called, No Sleep Gang. The group’s name served as homage to their all night work habits and countless hours spent doing what they love, creating music. Quickly gaining momentum, the No Sleep Gang acquired a following with many anticipating the release of their first project Money Season. The mixtape which was slated to drop January 1, 2012 was struck by tragedy when close friend and mentor to Quan, Tezzy passed away just two weeks prior to its scheduled release.
Overcoming many obstacles and faced with unspeakable pain, Quan found his way back to music and vowed to see his dream come to fruition. In 2012, Quan came back stronger than ever signing to Atlanta based independent label T.I.G (Think It’s A Game) and releasing his critically acclaimed Still Goin In mixtape. Proving to be a stepping stone for success, T.I.G also serves as home to label mates Trinidad Jame$ and ForteBowie.
Rich Homie Quan has not had an easy road, proving why fans love him for his honest lyrics and triumphant spirit. Quan who is preparing to re-release his infamous mixtape has fans patiently waiting to hear the four new tracks that are featured on Still Goin In Reloaded. Quan had this to say about what’s in store, “I’m armed with good music and here to stay”. With an incredible fan base, infectious music and backed by the best in the game, many are convinced Rich Homie Quan is certified next to blow.

Young Stoner Life is not only an apparel line but a movement started by recording Artist Young Thug. It represents a freedom of choice and expression to the new Generation. A new Generation that isn't afraid to defy odds, and push the envelope, a generation of Leaders.
Young Stoner Life's CEO, Young Thug was born in Atlanta, Georgia and is the second youngest of his ten siblings. He later moved to the Jonesboro South projects where he developed his rapping skills.[1][3]
After releasing his first three mixtapes I Came From Nothing 1, 2 and 3 in 2011 and 2012, Thug caught the attention of rapper Gucci Mane, who introduced him as a new Artist in 2013. Thug followed up with releasing a mixtape called 1017 Thug. The tape was met with positive reviews from music critics, which noted it for its original style. 1017 Thug was included in a number of year-end lists for 2013, such as Pitchfork's Albums of the Year: Honorable Mention[4] and Complex's The 50 Best Albums of 2013.[5] FACT called it the best mixtape of 2013,[6] Rolling Stone placed it at number five on their 10 Best Mixtapes of 2013[7] and The Guardian placed it among The Five Best Mixtapes of 2013.[8]
Thug's song "Picacho" was noted as one of the standout tracks from the mixtape and, although not released as a single, was included on a number of 2013 year-end lists, such asRolling Stone's 100 Best Songs of 2013,[9] Pitchfork's The Top 100 Tracks of 2013,[10] and Spin's 50 Best Songs of 2013.[11]
In July 2013, Complex included him in their list of 25 New Rappers to Watch Out For.[12] On October 17, 2013, Thug released his debut single "Stoner". The song spawned a number of unofficial remixes by rappers, such as Wale, Jim Jones, Jadakiss, Iamsu! and Trick-Trick.[13] Thug expressed his disapproval for the remixes, commenting "If you feel like my song isn't tough enough to the point where you have to freestyle... Don't think I'm happy that you're doing it because of who you are. I'm ready for war."[14] His song "Danny Glover" also received a number of remixes by Waka Flocka Flame and Nicki Minaj, among others.[15] In December 2013, Thug performed at Fool's Gold Day Off show in Miami, among Danny Brown, Trick Daddy and Travis Scott.[16] He also recorded a few songs with Kanye West, who had praised him for his ability to make songs so fast. In January 2014, Thug announced that he has upcoming mixtapes with Rich Homie and Bloody Jay.[13] On March 11, 2014, his single "Stoner" was serviced to rhythmic contemporary radio in the United States. There has been talks that his next single will be a collaboration with Drake titled "Ill" Young Thug is being considered for the 2014 XXL freshman class[20]. His current release Hookah features YM/Cmb Artist Tyga and his current single Danny Glover is quickly climbing the charts..

@STATQUO Real Name: Stanley Benton Birth Date: July 24, 1979 Hometown: Atlanta, Georgia
Forget about everything you think you know about Southern rap and open your ears to the new sound of the ATown. “Everything I do is different from what’s going on right now,” says Stat Quo matter-of-factly. And Shady/Aftermath’s newest recruit isn’t just blowing hot air. Although his name may suggest the average, Shady/Aftermath Records’ first southern artist is anything but. “A lot of these artists are just clones of what’s come before,” says Stat from under the brim of his signature Braves fitted cap. “But I don’t sound like anybody, especially [anyone] out the south. Period. I’m setting the new bar. I’m the way things should be.” Ain’t that the truth? If only every new artist could spit and sound like Stat mixing style and substance into a mean brew that’ll force you to rearrange your thinking about southern rap. And if only every rapper was blessed with Stat’s distinctive flow (even folks in East Atlanta think his accent is unique), then you might be able to find folks on posse cuts as easily as you can hear Stat shine in any crowd. And if only everybody had to impress Eminem and Dr. Dre just to get a deal. “Just being around the two of them, you can’t buy that experience,” says Stat. “Eminem will just give you those little techniques on putting words together, and you’ll be like, damn, I can literally make orange rhyme with purple. And then you fuck with Dre and Dre, man, he just takes what you do to a whole ‘nother level.” Eminem plus Dr. Dre is definitely one vicious combo, just ask 50 Cent, the only other artist besides Stat directly signed to the rap’s reigning kings. One listen to Stat Quo’s impressive debut, Statlanta, and it’ll quickly become clear why both Em and Dre felt they had to be involved in the project. From the frenetic thump of this spring’s hottest street single, “Like Dat,” to the dark DJ Toomp produced anthem, “I’m Livin’,” Statlanta is packed with enough Southern heat to melt the polar cap. And Statlanta’s appeal stretches way beyond the Georgia State. With appearances by Scarface, Devin the Dude, Young Buck and Eminem, plus production by Scott Storch, Eminem and Dr. Dre. Stat’s debut is sure to have heads buzzing from Bankhead to Brooklyn and beyond. “Motherfuckers just be making songs, not albums,” says Stat. “But an author doesn’t write a book and chapter one don’t have shit to do with chapter 12. An album has to be a journey, it has to have a storyline and it all has to correlate.” And Stat Quo definitely got a story to tell. Atlanta born and bred, he’s seen all sides of his red hot hometown, so whether it’s breaking down the traps (song-tk) or making the girls in the club get low (“Like Dat”), Stat’s got it covered. But there’s more to Stat than stuntin and flossin’. The college grad (Stat earned a double major in international business and economics from the University of Florida in 2000) can help those with their money on their mind get their mind right (song-TK), and explore emotional depths that few MCs would touch (“Thirty Minutes”). And with an ear finely tuned by a vast catalog of rap classic “I grew up on Outkast, 8Ball & MJG, UGK, Scarface, plus Wu-Tang, Nas and the whole Death Row movement, back when everybody was popping on all cylinders,” he says and with Dre and Em behind him, the stage is set, not just for a classic debut, but for a legendary career. Such versatility is all part of Stat Quo’s master plan. “When people think about lyricists in the South, I want my name to come to their head,” he says. “And not just when they think about the South, but lyricists period. When people say who the best damn rappers period, I want motherfuckas to say my name.” So, what you really know about the Dirty South? Bio From - EminemLounge.com
