Community Emergency Corps & Toys for Tots BALLSTON SPA – During this upcoming holiday season Community Emergency Corps of Ballston Spa will again be an official drop off point for donations for the Toys for Tots program sponsored by the United States Marine Corps. This year, the Marine Corps with your help, hopes to exceed that goal and reach out to even more children. With these trying times and the recession still looming over this holiday season, we are in an even bigger need of support from our Capital Region community. National Bottle Museum Announces New Hours

BALLSTON SPA – The National Bottle Museum®, located at 76 Milton Avenue in Ballston Spa is changing its operating schedule. Effective immediately, the museum is resuming its regular off-summer hours of Monday through Friday, 10am4pm. The National Bottle Museum preserves the history of bottle manufacturing with an emphasis on the pre-machine made era. Michael Owens patented the Automatic Bottle Machine in 1903. Currently, the museum is featuring exhibits about Albany Breweries, White’s Pottery of Utica, NY, as well as an art show of works by members of the group Art ‘n’ Soul in the second floor Artists’ Space. 9th Annual Car Show BALLSTON SPA – The Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association has announced plans for the ninth annual “The Way We Were” Car Show to be held Sunday, October 9, from 9am-4pm on Front Street in Historic Ballston Spa.
