BALLSTON SPA – Cole’s Collision will be sponsoring the 9th Annual “The Way We Were Car Show” on Sunday, October 9, in downtown Ballston Spa. The annual event is expected to draw very large crowds to the community with all proceeds benefiting local community activities. Hosting the event, The Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association has been putting on the car show for the past nine years. Hundreds of classic cars will line Front Street and Low Street in historic Ballston Spa from 9am-4pm. Event will also feature food and promotional vendors, as well as musical performances. Cole’s Collision has registered two of their cars for enthusiasts to view and they will also be setting up two vendor tables giving away promotional prizes to spectators. Being involved with the community has always been a part of Coles Collision’s philosophy. Cole’s Collision owner John Cole and his employees take pride in being involved in many community events. John states, “Our customers are our lifeline and we appreciate each and every one of them”. A rain date for the Car Show has been planned for October 16. (M)

MALTA RIDGE – The Malta Ridge United Methodist Church will hold a Roast Pork Supper on Saturday, October 15, at the Church located at 729 Malta Avenue Extension, in Malta Ridge. The menu will feature roast pork, mashed potatoes with gravy, Nellie’s baked beans, squash, applesauce, homemade rolls and homemade apple and pumpkin pies for dessert. Eat-in or take-out is available from 4-6:30pm. Donation is $9 for adults, $8 seniors, $5 for children ages 5 to 12, and under age 5 free. Tickets will be sold at the door.
