STILLWATER – The Women’s Association of Stillwater United Church, 747 Hudson Ave. (formerly 135 Hudson Ave.) in Stillwater is holding its annual Harvest Dinner on Thursday, October 20, from 5-6:30pm in the church’s Fellowship Hall. Menu: family-style servings of roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, winter squash, coleslaw, rolls, pie and beverage. Takeout available. Cost: $10 Adults; $5 Ages 5-10; Under 5 Free. For advanced tickets contact the church office at 664-7984. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. The historic designated church is handicap accessible. (P)
Pancake Breakfast CLIFTON PARK – The Clifton Park Fire Department will begin its monthly All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, October 9, as part of their kick off to National Fire Prevention Week. The event will run from 8-11:30am at the firehouse on Old Route 146, between Route 9 and 146 in Clifton Park. Cost: $5 for Adults, $3 for Children ages 6 to 12 (free for kids under age 6). Tours of the fire trucks and equipment will also be given to all who attend. Come and get your fill of pancakes and bring your kids for very important fire safety information! (P)
