Cano/Kayak Race  JUNE 4th 2011 Get your canoe or kayak ready for the Annual Feeder Canal Alliance Canoe/Kayak Race and Recreational Paddle to be held on Saturday June 4th. This event, to support the Feeder Canal Alliance, will begin at noon at the Feeder Dam, located at the end of Richardson Street in Queensbury. This is also a great time for recreational paddlers to explore a side of Glens Falls and Hudson Falls that you canʟt see from the road. Travel under a factory, through a tunnel that goes under the road, discover wildlife along the water and explore the old canal. Register before the race or call 792-5364 info@feedercanal.com for a form. The Feeder Canal Alliance Annual Canoe & Kayak Race (and Recreational Paddle) is a fun 5-mile race (or recreational paddle) in the historic canal that begins at Feeder Dam (at the end of Richardson Street) in Queensbury and finishes at the Martindale Boat Basin in Hudson Falls . Kayak and canoe enthusiasts of all skill levels will enjoy the ride. Registration begins at 9:30 AM and ends 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 4th at Feeder Dam Park (located at the end of Richardson Street) east of Northway Exit 18 in Queensbury.
