DOT & JOHNSTOCK 2011 CINDY/SAM FUNDRAISER HUGE SUCCESS Saturday, June 18th marked the 4th Annual Dot & Johnstock Fundraiser at the Stony Creek Inn. This yearĘźs event raised $7,000. CindyĘźs Cancer RetreatĘźs $3,500 will provide programs as well as opportunities for people living with and beyond cancer to attend weekend retreats to help them through their journey. The Southern Adirondack Musicians Fund (SAM) also received $3,500 toward their emergency fund to help local musicians and their families in need. The day was graced by beautiful weather, great food, an amazing, huge silent auction and musicmusic-music. A good time was had by all, with many Cindy Retreaters, musicians and their families present. Glens Falls Hospital Charles Wood Cancer Staff provided educational and fun give-aways as well as a presentation of CindyĘźs Retreat photos. Much thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all the local businesses, donators, contributers and volunteers who gave so generously of their goods, services, body & spirit. Thanks, Dot Bartell

The 36th Annual Riverview Arts and Crafts Festival in Lake Luzerne will be held on Saturday, July 16th from 94pm. There are over 40 unique crafters & a HUGE book sale! Admission is free.
