Craft Vendors Wanted The Thurman Fall Farm Tour, to be held October 8th and 9th, has openings for vendors at its craft fair at The Glen Lodge B&B and Market on busy NY State route 28, between Warrensburg and Gore Mountain. Also at that site, organizers say, will be availability of a train ride to Thurman Station on the Saratoga & North Creek Railway, a gift shop, a horse logging demonstration and box lunches. The rest of the Town of Thurman will be humming for those two days, with open houses at sugar houses and tree farms, a geocaching scavenger hunt, natural horsemanship demonstrations, a quilt show, art gallery tours, a business home show, a chicken barbecue and barn dance, a gospel concert and much more. The event promises to bring a good crowd. Those interested in learning more call 518-623-9595 or email martinslumber@hotmail.com.
