Registration for the West Mountain Learn to Ski Weekend Program is going on NOW through Oct. 15 at the Town of Greenfield Recreation Dept. This program is open to everyone, and begins Jan 7 & 8, 2012. Lift times are 8:30am-1:30pm, 11am-4pm, or 1pm-6pm. Lessons are for seven weeks. Cost of the program is $197 for lift only, and $218 for lift and lesson for youth ages 4 - 17. Adult lift and lesson is $230. Any questions please contact Karyn at 893-7432, ext.307. Marian Pierre-Louis, the principal researcher for Fieldstone Historic Research and a regular speaker at genealogical societies, will offer four workshops at the annual Heritage Hunters Fall Conference.  It will be held on Saturday, October 15th at Saratoga Town Hall in Schuylerville, at the corner of Rt. 4 and Rt. 29.  The topics are: Pirates and Prisoners - the Registry is more than just Deeds; Two Chairs and a Pair of Spectacles – discovering your ancestors in Probate Records; Finding the Gems in Cemeteries; and Donʟt Call Your Relatives, Let Them Call You!
