Team Kristine CAPITAL REGION – In 2009 Kristine Greco was diagnosed with a form of childhood brain cancer called Anaplastic Medulloblastoma. Approximately 350 children in the United States are diagnosed each year with this awful disease. Kristine fought hard against this very aggressive cancer and underwent extensive brain surgery and a course of grueling treatment including chemotherapy and radiation. Following a yearlong battle, Kristine graduated high school (with honors) and was on the path to a bright future.
