Fair Seeks Art & Science Exhibits SARATOGA COUNTY – The 170th Saratoga County Fair invites your Saratoga County School students to display their art and science exhibits at the fair from July 19-24. Students may also enter projects individually. Prizes include ribbons and cash. Three School Districts with the best displays win awards of a first prize TV & DVD combination, second and third prizes one TV and one DVD; four outstanding student entries receive a cash prize. There are ten honorable mentions for art and ten honorable mentions for Social/Science. Other categories are: Photography, Graphic Arts & Group Projects. For judging purposes, there will be two age groups; grades K-6 and grades 7-12. For more information on entering, call Sue or Kim Leahey at 885-4084 or Joan Joyner at 587-4622. Family Bowling Night Benefit SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Saratoga Hospital Heart Walk Teams are sponsoring a Family Bowling Night at the Saratoga Strike Zone, 32 Ballston Avenue, Saratoga Springs, on Friday, June 17 to benefit the American Heart Association. There will be two sessions: one from 6-8pm, and one from 8:15-10:15pm. Admission of $15 per person will include 2 hours of bowling, shoe rental, 2 slices of pizza, a soda, and bumper car ride (if over 44” tall).
