LARAC “Input/Output” Exhibit Runs GLENS FALLS – Friday, October 7 marks the opening of the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council’s Input/Output Show at Lapham Gallery, with a reception that evening from 5-7pm featuring local musical artist, James Hood. A Gallery Talk begins at 4:45pm with two of the presenting artists. This exciting exhibit explores the works of three artists: John Hampshire, Michael Marks and Peter Russom. Each artist utilizes a particular source, or ‘input’, that inspires their work, using paint or drawing materials to interpret their findings. The result is an exhibit that shows the ‘output’ of their efforts, and creates a dynamic exchange between the source, the artist, the materials and the viewer. Exhibit runs thru November 4. Lapham Gallery is located on City Park in Downtown Glens Falls. Gallery hours are Tues.-Sat. 10am-3pm. For more information on the exhibit, or for directions to Lapham Gallery, call 798-1144 x2 or visit the website at www.larac.org. (P)
