Moreau Seniors Picnic

MOREAU – The Moreau Community Center will hold their annual picnic on Tuesday, August 9, at the Moreau Lake State Park (near Exit 17). Rain date: Wednesday, August 10. Come as early as you’d like! Bingo starts at 10:30am with lunch at noon; and then stay as long as you’d like. Everyone should bring a dish for the table (salad, dessert, etc.) and their own beverage. The Center will supply hot dogs with sauce, paper plates and eating utensils. If you would like to attend, please call the Center at 792-6007 with your name and birthdate. This information will be left at the gate, for your free admission. Also please let the Center know what you will be bringing, so they can coordinate the food. (P)
Book Donations Needed WARREN COUNTY – Cornell Cooperative Extension is seeking donations of children’s books for the annual Warren County Youth Fair Reading Room. Each year the Reading Room is stocked with new and gently used books donated by the community for children attending the fair to take home for their summer reading enjoyment. The Warren County Youth Fair is a free event that will be held on August 6 from 10am-2pm. Donations of gently used or new children’s books will be collected until August 1 and can be dropped off

Walking Club SO. GLENS FALLS – The Moreau Seniors has a Walking Club. Walkers meet every Thursday morning at 8am, rain or shine, and walk for one hour. For variety, they choose different locations; interesting walks that are nearby. There is no commitment, come when you can.
