A Day of Fundraising for Japan CLIFTON PARK – Pai’s Academy of Tae Kwon Do presents “A Day of Fundraising for Japan” on Saturday, April 16, at the Gowana Middle School gym, 970 Route 146 in Clifton Park. Schedule: Bus leaves the Church at 9:30am, bring your lunch; arrive at Shrine late morning. 10am-1pm: Mother of Mercy Outdoor Service. Confessions until 5pm; food court until 6pm; craft shop until 5pm. Lourdes Grotto: all day. 1pm: Divine Mercy Solemn Liturgy. 3pm: Solemn Celebration of the “Hour of Great Mercy”—Novena and Chaplet of the Divine Mercy—Exposition and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament—Blessing of Religious Articles. 6pm: Return to Immaculate Conception Church. “Critical Decisions” GLENVILLE – Seton Health’s Faith Community Nursing and the Parish Nurse Program at Immaculate Conception Church is sponsoring a series of presentations called “Critical Decisions”. The focus of these seminars will be on making pre-planned decisions for end of life issues. The next seminar will be held on Tuesday, April 12 at 7pm at Immaculate Conception Church in the Flicker Room, 400 Saratoga Road (Rt. 50), Glenville. The discussion will be “Critical Medical Decisions/Advanced Directives”. Michael W. Dailey, MD, from Albany Medical Center’s Emergency Medicine Group, will address healthcare proxy, DNR, MOLST, organ donation, Family Health Care Decisions Act 2010 and how to make your wishes known and honored if you can no longer speak for yourself.
