New Event: Design of Networking The Design of Networking was held September 27, 2012 in Beggs Hall on the Wichita State University campus. The event was a collaboration with Mike McCoy, Mechanical Engineering Instructor. Kristy Laufer of Flint Hill Resources prepared 23 students for the evening, instructing them in the basics of networking. Following Laufer’s overview, students had the opportunity to practice their networking skills with 10 engineering employers representing Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, GKN Aerospace, Cox Communictions, Koch Industries, Vornado, Spirit and the Society of Women Engineers.

Resumania! Resumania

Resumania provides an opportunity for students to meet our staff, ask questions about resume writing and have a resume reviewed. Career counselors from Career Services were out and about on campus this spring to help students prepare resumes for the upcoming Spring 2013 Job Fair. Resumania took place in the Rhatigan Student Center lobby on January 30. The counselors were in Clinton Hall on February 13. The final Resumania was held in the Career Services office in 203 Grace Wilkie on February 27.
