Spalding Gray was one of the most revered and irreverent storytellers of our time. Experience excerpts from Gray’s legendary stories and monologues performed by some of the country’s most accomplished writers/ performers, including Kevin Kling, Ain Gordon, Carmelita Tropicana, Josh Lefkowitz, and SCSU theater faculty member Jeffrey Bleam. Note: this performance contains strong adult language and themes.

DBR explores the space between traditional classical music and today’s pop music, bridging the cultural divide in his campaign to turn young people on to orchestral music. You’ll like this show if you enjoy hip hop, rock and contemporary music. This event might not be for you if you like traditional classical music.

With Homer in the lead and Marge as Lady MacHomer, actor Rick Miller recreates the voices of more than 50 characters from the iconic TV series in this hilarious version of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

A Mass for the 21st century, John the Revelator pulses with mystery and the warmth of salvation. Suggesting redemption in a blighted world, the work features contemporary poetry and text from the Old Testament interwoven with the soaring voices of Lionheart.

Greg Brown is just your ordinary Iowa Zen beatnik folkie, who happens to make nuanced and intelligent music. He was raised by a family that made music and words a way of life.
