COLLEGE

Two colleges?

Together?

Yes! When you enroll at the College of Saint Benedict (CSB) or Saint John’s University (SJU), you’ll be part of two amazing colleges. Saint Ben’s is a top-ranked liberal arts college for women. Saint John’s is a top-ranked liberal arts college for men. Together, we offer you a oneof-a-kind co-ed experience. As a CSB/SJU student, you’ll have full access to both schools. You’ll take classes on both campuses, eat on both campuses, attend events on both campuses, study on both campuses and use the athletic facilities on both campuses. That means you have all the opportunities and perks of a large university while getting the close-knit feel and personal attention of a smaller college.

A match made in heaven! (Heaven looks a lot like beautiful central Minnesota.) You won’t find this kind of two-for-one, educational partnership anywhere else. We’re like peanut butter and jelly, if both were highly regarded private colleges that consistently produce cream-of-the-crop grads.

21 for

Two colleges/one partnership = • More academic options • Twice the social opportunities • More life-long connections

• An expanded professional network • The perfect mix of single-gender and co-ed experiences • Bigger, better results in four years • The best time of your life 3

We’re

Bennies & Johnnies.

As a Bennie, you’ll be empowered by an amazing and supportive community of strong women. CSB was founded in 1913 by a group of forward-thinking Benedictine Sisters who made it their mission to educate women and develop strong leaders. That legacy is still propelling women forward today.

4

As a Johnnie, you’ll experience a unique brotherhood that makes your best times better and your challenging times easier to tackle. SJU alums say their fellow Johnnies taught them what it means to be a man in today’s world. These connections will stay with you for a lifetime.

Religious roots that sprout inner growth Our Benedictine values and Catholic faith permeate our entire college experience. That doesn’t mean everyone you meet here will be Catholic. (In fact, just under half our student body isn’t.) But it does mean we’re the perfect place to explore your spirituality or expand and go deeper in other areas of your life.

We’re located in the heart of central Minnesota and an hour northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

We’re smack dab in the center of some of central Minnesota’s most beautiful lakes and hiking trails and just minutes away from St. Cloud — a bustling region of nearly 200,000 and growing — with Target, movies, dozens of restaurants and a large shopping mall just down the road.

Saint John's University

The Link Our two campuses are only six miles apart. But, don’t worry. You won’t need an Uber. To make accessing both campuses super convenient, you’ll travel between the two on our free and frequent shuttle that runs on an easy-to-remember schedule every day of the week.

ACADEMICS 2

More skills for a lifetime.

CSB/SJU: Hey did you hear about our Integrations Curriculum?

You: Nope. What’s that?

CSB/SJU: It’s a new way of learning that helps you think bigger and more creatively about how your coursework, life experiences and aspirations all connect.

You: How will it help me?

CSB/SJU: You’ll learn real-life skills that are super sought after by employers and the nation’s top graduate programs.

You: Sweet!

The first thing you’ll get as a Bennie or Johnnie is the opportunity to learn amazing things. The last thing you’ll get is lost in the shuffle. We offer all the benefits of a large university (a long list of specialized studies, top-notch professors, oncein-a-lifetime experiential learning opportunities) with the best perks of a small private college (small class sizes, no impersonal lecture halls, one-on-one mentorships, a deep sense of community and belonging). 8

When you head into the world as a CSB/SJU alum, you’ll be armed with the powers of a liberal arts warrior: the ability to think deeply, embrace difference, engage globally, serve graciously and live courageously.

CSB/SJU: You’re already amazing. Our Integrations Curriculum will accentuate it even more.

You: Let’s do it!
