The College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) is a hub to assist NC students with applying to both colleges and scholarships.

Every October, CFNC hosts NC Countdown to College to assist Seniors with College Applications, RDS, and FAFSA. (link will be updated this summer)

CFNC requires the student to complete a separate application for each school they apply to. Via the CFNC Application Hub, select NC colleges will choose to waive their application fees during Free Application Week in October (dates will be announced over the summer).

Students must apply through CFNC (Not Common App or any other option) in order to apply for fre that week.

There are 7 Common App Prompts to choose from when a student writes their Personal Statement.
