Alumnae Au Courant February 2016 Welcome to Sacred Heart's new Alumnae newsletter, Alumnae Au Courant. Alumnae Au Courant is a monthly publication that spotlights alumnae, keeps you in the loop about what is happening on campus and informs you of upcoming alumnae events. I, along with the Alumnae Board, look forward to connecting with all of you through this newsletter. Sincerely, Dreux Dubin Claiden ’77 (P '13) President, Greenwich Maplehurst Alumnae Association alumnae@cshct.org Erika Gorman '04 speaks to Science Research class On January 28, Erika Gorman ’04 spoke to Mrs. Musolino’s Science Research class. After graduating from Sacred Heart Greenwich, Erika attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO and pursued a Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering degree. After graduation she began working for CDM Smith as a Structural Engineer in Cambridge, MA. She is currently working for CH2M as a Project Manager and Structural Engineer. Her most recent project involves working on the Brooklyn Bridge Park with a team of divers who conduct underwater inspections.

Stay connected through LinkedIn Alumnae gather at 91st Street On Monday night, February 1, Greenwich alumnae gathered at Convent of the Sacred Heart 91st Street along with other Sacred Heart alumnae for a New York City Alumnae Reception. Alumnae from Academy of the Sacred Heart - The Roasary in New Orleans, Convent of the Sacred Heart - 91st Street in New York, Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bellevue, and Sacred Heart Schools - Sheridan Road in Chicago were also in attendance.

In Memoriam Danne Almirall '59: Danne Almirall, of New York City, died Sunday, January 17, 2016. She was born in New York City on February 14, 1941 to Lloyd and Catherine Almirall. A longtime employee of NBC and later the Archdiocese of New York, Danne is survived by her siblings Jan A. Olmer, Paul Almirall and Kiki Hobin. A private memorial service will be scheduled for the spring of this year.

Patrick Francis Kelly, son of Joan Murphy Kelly '59: Patrick Francis Kelly passed away at his home in Snowmass Village on Thursday, February 4, after a nearly two-year battle with an aggressive brain tumor. He was 38 years old. Patrick was born to Joan Murphy Kelly and James Richard Kelly in Stoughton, Massachusetts on January 1, 1978.
