A Bad Experience Online Online Cyberbullying Experience
Nowadays, the Internet seems to be inseparable from our lives and after all, it is the fastest and most efficient way to integrate into the society as it not only allows for communication through various methods, like email, but also ensures easy availability of searching and receiving information, images, and products amongst many other facilities. However, such platform is not free from having its cons, specifically cyberbullying. From personal experience, I can state that there are people, hidden behind bright screens, that have brought and spread negativity and hatred to the platform. It was a while ago when I decided to participate into an art contest held within an art related website, driven by passion and enthusiasm, only to be left with a bitter taste and an experience to share with others. Critics are usually known as being constructive, yet as soon as I posted my piece of artwork of which I was highly proud of, despite the numerous positive comments, I also gained quite a few of negative comments for no actual reason which, naturally, brought my state of spirit down slightly. People, some of who had no experience in the domain, were mean, spreading hatred over multiple pieces of art and causing arguments which shadowed the true purpose of the website and contest, for the young artists to share artwork and get noticed for their talent and creativity.
