with unprecedented success by our studentathletes and Athletics Department in competition, the classroom, and the community. We invite you to celebrate with us as we detail our accomplishments in our first formal annual report. As we rejoice remember that you are all members of our #10TeamsONEPack. This past year Athletics staff and coaches developed a new student-athlete centered mission statement focusing on three Core Values. · Champion Student-Athletes · Champion People · Champion Performance We embrace Champion because it defines how we challenge ourselves and one another every day to support our student-athletes with their development into champion student-athletes. It is both a process and a result. Importantly, within Athletics, we welcome our community to share in our support of student-athlete development as champion people alongside our staff and coaches. This passion for our student-athletes is reflected in the champion performances that are nurtured throughout Athletics.

I want to personally thank you all for providing unprecedented support to our student-athletes this past year. With your generosity we increased our scholarship endowment fund by 50% with the addition of $200,000 in new scholarships for golf and women’s cross country/track and field. We expanded our corporate sponsorship program to over 30 partners. Athletics and Housing & Residential Life entered into a one-of-a-kind strategic partnership that will annually provide on campus housing scholarships to 60 studentathletes. This is a game changer in our efforts to build a student-centered campus community. On behalf of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff, thank you for your support of CSUSB Athletics this year. We are #10TeamsONEPack due to your continued involvement and providing the financial resources to make it happen. It is an exciting time to be a Coyote and we are proud of all that was achieved this past year and excited for what lies ahead. Enjoy the report.

Our Core Values are reflected throughout this report. The grand opening of the Student-Athlete Academic Success Center demonstrates the university’s continued commitment to developing champion student-athletes in the classroom and beyond. By providing the tools necessary to succeed in the classroom our 250 student-athletes have one of the best exclusive-use academic centers in all of NCAA Division II. Academically, we had 46 Coyotes achieve a place on the CCAA All-Academic teams this year. As a program, once again our student-athletes maintained a 3.0 GPA across all sports. 92 student-athletes held a 3.25 to 3.49 GPA and 153 student-athletes made the Dean’s List with a 3.50 to 4.0 GPA, while 24 had perfect 4.0’s. Reaching out beyond competition, our men’s soccer and golf programs finished nationally in the top-10 in

community service hours for their respective sport. Importantly, as a department, our champion people performed over 2,200 hours in community service to our Inland Empire community.

Go Yotes! Shawn Farrell Director of Athletics
